Level 7 Peekaboo! Icon
Level 10 Emerald Wind Icon Blink Heal Icon ?
Level 13 Pixie Power Icon Safety Dust Icon ?
Level 16 Critterize Icon
Level 20 Intensive Winds Icon Faerie Protector Icon ?

The Teleport Build focuses on providing great global mobility, which becomes particularly useful on larger maps like Cursed Hollow, Garden of Terror, or Infernal Shrines. Since Brightwing's talent tree is quite competitive, it is very important to adjust accordingly. At Level 13, for instance, Pixie Power Icon Pixie Power could be replaced by Safety Dust Icon Safety Dust depending on what type of damage the enemy team has.

Arcane Flare Build

Level 1 Hyper Shift Icon Pixie Charm Icon ?
Level 4 Dream Shot Icon Magic Spit Icon ?
Level 7 Sticky Flare Icon Peekaboo! Icon ?
Level 10 Blink Heal Icon
Level 13 Safety Dust Icon Pixie Power Icon ?
Level 16 Hush! Icon Critterize Icon ? Phase Out Icon ?
Level 20 Invisible Friends Icon Faerie Protector Icon ?

The Arcane Flare Build emphasizes Brightwing's unexpectedly strong damage and crowd control when combining several Q-based talents such as Dream Shot Icon Dream Shot at Level 4, Sticky Flare Icon Sticky Flare at Level 7, and Hush! Icon Hush! at Level 16. Phase Out Icon Phase Out can be a helpful defensive talent to pick up at Level 16, since casting Blink Heal Icon Blink Heal may sometimes cause Brightwing to get too close to the enemy team.

Level 1 Talents for Brightwing

Brightwing Greater Polymorph
Greater Polymorph (Level 1) World of Warcraft Brightwing

Increase Polymorph's range by 30%. If Brightwing hits a Polymorphed enemy Hero with Arcane Flare's center, then reduce Polymorph's cooldown by 6 seconds and gain 50 Mana.

Brightwing Hyper Shift
Hyper Shift (Level 1) World of Warcraft Brightwing

Increase Phase Shift's healing by an additional 10% of the target's maximum Health. Nearby enemy Minion deaths reduce Phase Shift's cooldown by 2 seconds.

Brightwing Pixie Charm ?
Pixie Charm (Level 1) World of Warcraft Brightwing
  • Cooldown: 0.25 seconds

Activate to consume 20 stacks of Bribe to instantly defeat an uncaptured non-Elite Mercenary.

Passive: Gain 1 stack of Bribe when a nearby enemy Minion dies, and 5 stacks when hitting an enemy Hero with Arcane Flare's center. Maximum 80 stacks.

Hyper Shift Icon Hyper Shift allows Brightwing to teleport across the map a lot more frequently if she heals herself or her allies with Soothing Mist Icon Soothing Mist. This proves to be especially useful on larger maps like Cursed Hollow or Garden of Terror, as Brightwing is able to split-push more efficiently if she has her teleport available allowing her to assist her teammates if need be. This talent has great synergy with Peekaboo! Icon Peekaboo! at Level 7, which will add a shield and additional vision whenever Brightwing teleports to a friendly Hero.

Pixie Charm Icon Pixie Charm is only recommended on maps with a lot of Mercenary Camps that are also relatively safely to access, like Garden of Terror, Dragon Shire, or Sky Temple.

Greater Polymorph Icon Greater Polymorph could perhaps be considered if the enemy team composition runs dangerous melee Assassins like Illidan or The Butcher that need to be shut down for as long as possible. And even then, the extra healing and cooldown reduction coming from Hyper Shift Icon Hyper Shift proves to be more useful throughout the game.

Level 4 Talents for Brightwing

Brightwing Dream Shot
Dream Shot (Level 4) World of Warcraft Brightwing

Increase Arcane Flare's range by 50%. Hitting a Hero with Arcane Flare's center reduces its cooldown to 2 seconds.

Brightwing Unstable Anomaly
Unstable Anomaly (Level 4) World of Warcraft Brightwing

Increase Polymorph's Slow by 15%. Upon expiration, Polymorph deals damage to nearby enemy Heroes equal to 2% of their maximum Health.

Brightwing Magic Spit
Magic Spit (Level 4) World of Warcraft Brightwing

Increase Basic Attack range by 1.1. Basic Attacks against Heroes reduce the cooldown of Soothing Mist by 5 seconds.

Dream Shot Icon Dream Shot is a strong choice. The additional range allows Brightwing to keep a safer distance from her enemies, while the cooldown reduction has great synergy with talents like Sticky Flare Icon Sticky Flare at Level 7 and Hush! Icon Hush! at Level 16.

Magic Spit Icon Magic Spit increases Brightwing's Basic Attack range, which allows her to stay away from enemy Heroes more easily. The additional cooldown reduction on her Trait is a great extra to have.

Unstable Anomaly Icon Unstable Anomaly's additional damage is not significant enough to make this a worthwhile investment over the other Level 4 talents.

Level 7 Talents for Brightwing

Brightwing Sticky Flare
Sticky Flare (Level 7) World of Warcraft Brightwing

Enemy Heroes hit by Arcane Flare have their Movement Speed Slowed by 20% for 3 seconds. Increase the Slow to 40% if they are hit by the center portion.

Brightwing Peekaboo!
Peekaboo! (Level 7) World of Warcraft Brightwing

Phase Shifting to an ally grants both Brightwing and her target a 335 (+4% per level) point Shield and reveals a large area around them for 5 seconds.

Brightwing Critical Mist
Critical Mist (Level 7) World of Warcraft Brightwing

Soothing Mist heals allied Heroes for 150 (+4% per level). Increase this healing by 100% if Soothing Mist removed a disabling effect from that ally.

Peekaboo! Icon Peekaboo! works very well if you chose Hyper Shift Icon Hyper Shift at Level 1. Being able to reveal Stealthed enemies like Nova or Zeratul in a large radius around your selected ally can thwart the enemy team's plans of initiating a team fight and turn the momentum in your favour. The additional shield applied on the target is the icing on the cake that makes this talent a very solid choice.

Sticky Flare Icon Sticky Flare should mainly be considered if your team is lacking crowd control in general. Unlike other talents related to Arcane Flare Icon Arcane Flare, Sticky Flare's slow effect is a useful tool that allows you to slow several enemies at the same time, which can aid you in many different situations.

Critical Mist Icon Critical Mist can only give you value every 100 seconds due to the cooldown of Soothing Mist Icon Soothing Mist. Even if you pick talents like Magic Spit Icon Magic Spit at Level 4, which provide cooldown reduction, Critical Mist will likely not see enough value to justify the pick. Last but not least, due to the slow travel speed of the Soothing Mist's cleansing effect, the proc cannot be guaranteed. As a result, this talent will likely not have any or very little effect througout the game.

Level 10 Talents for Brightwing

Brightwing Blink Heal
Blink Heal (Level 10) World of Warcraft Brightwing
  • Mana: 40
  • Charges: 2
  • Recharge Time: 9 seconds

Teleport to a nearby ally. When teleporting to a Hero, heal them for 200 (+4% per level).

Stores up to 2 charges.

Brightwing Emerald Wind
Emerald Wind (Level 10) World of Warcraft Brightwing
  • Mana: 90
  • Cooldown: 50 seconds

After 0.5 seconds, create an expanding nova of wind, dealing 225 (+4% per level) damage and pushing enemies away.

Blink Heal Icon Blink Heal enables Brightwing to teleport to allies over short distances, which allows her to manoeuvre both defensively and offensively during team fights. Dodging enemy Basic Attacks or skill-shot abilities like Muradin's Storm Bolt Icon Storm Bolt or Stitches' Hook Icon Hook with the help of Blink Heal allows your team to turn on the enemy without worrying about the respective crowd control effects. By the same token, Brightwing is able to use Blink Heal as a gap-closing ability by using it on an allied unit to get in range of an enemy and cast an unexpected Polymorph Icon Polymorph on them.

Brightwing's second Heroic Ability, Emerald Wind Icon Emerald Wind, is a very effective, yet situational choice that needs to be used with great caution. There are several requirements that need to be met before you should decide to pick Emerald Wind instead of Blink Heal Icon Blink Heal. Firstly, you should consider if you need a strong disengage ability to counter enemy initiators like Tyrael or Anub'arak. If the opposing team consists of at least two or more aggressive Warriors, Emerald Wind may indeed become a useful tool to keep them at bay. Secondly, you need to double-check whether your team has another Supporter in its lineup. Heroes like Tassadar or Tyrande can greatly assist Brightwing in keeping her teammates alive, which makes Emerald Wind a valid alternative to Blink Heal if there is an additional healer at your team's disposal.

Level 13 Talents for Brightwing

Brightwing Pixie Boost
Pixie Boost (Level 13) World of Warcraft Brightwing

Pixie Dust gives 40% bonus Movement Speed, decaying to 20% over 3 seconds.

Brightwing Safety Dust
Safety Dust (Level 13) World of Warcraft Brightwing

Increase Pixie Dust's duration by 1 second. Brightwing heals allies with an active Pixie Dust for 75% more.

Brightwing Pixie Power
Pixie Power (Level 13) World of Warcraft Brightwing

Reduce the cooldown of Pixie Dust by 3 seconds and increase the Spell Armor granted by 25.

Safety Dust Icon Safety Dust provides a great healing boost. This talent can be paired with a short-distance Phase Shift Icon Phase Shift to maximize the healing on a target in need.

Pixie Power Icon Pixie Power provides an additional Spell Armor buff to the target of Brightwing's Pixie Dust Icon Pixie Dust ability. If the enemy team relies on Mages and their Spell damage, this talent becomes a great choice.

Pixie Boost Icon Pixie Boost's Movement Speed Boost is usually not strong enough to outperform the extra healing and Spell Armor from the other Level 13 talents.

Level 16 Talents for Brightwing

Brightwing Hush!
Hush! (Level 16) World of Warcraft Brightwing

Enemy Heroes hit by the center of Arcane Flare are Silenced for 1 second and deal 25% less damage for 3 seconds.

Brightwing Critterize
Critterize (Level 16) World of Warcraft Brightwing

While Polymorphed, the target's Armor is reduced by 25, increasing the damage they take by 25%.

Brightwing Phase Out ?
Phase Out (Level 16) World of Warcraft Brightwing
  • Cooldown: 20 seconds

Activate to place Brightwing in Stasis for 0.75 seconds.

Critterize Icon Critterize enables Brightwing's Polymorph Icon Polymorph ability to increase all damage done to a single enemy Hero by 25%, which will allow your team to burst it down very quickly. Do not hesitate to make use of Critterize against engaging Warriors like Tyrael or E.T.C. to bring them down more quickly.

Hush! Icon Hush! is only recommended if you picked the other Q-related talents at Level 4 and 7. Combined, Brightwing turns into a quite potent damage and crowd control heavy Hero.

Phase Out Icon Phase Out can be a recommended talent if the enemy team has a lot of burst damage and crowd control. The short 20-second cooldown makes it a very forgiving ability.

Level 20 Talents for Brightwing

Brightwing Invisible Friends
Invisible Friends (Level 20) World of Warcraft Brightwing

Blink Heal grants Stealth to Brightwing. If Blink Heal is cast on a Hero, they are also granted Stealth. While Stealthed by Invisible Friends, Heroes heal for 20 (+4% per level) Health per second and are Unrevealable for the first 0.5 seconds.

Remaining stationary for at least 1.5 seconds while Stealthed grants Invisible.

Brightwing Intensive Winds
Intensive Winds (Level 20) World of Warcraft Brightwing

Permanently reduce Emerald Wind's cooldown to 5 seconds and increase its Mana cost to 200.

Brightwing Speedy Dragon ?
Speedy Dragon (Level 20) World of Warcraft Brightwing

Permanently gain 20% Movement Speed.

Brightwing Faerie Protector
Faerie Protector (Level 20) World of Warcraft Brightwing
  • Cooldown: 45 seconds

Activate to apply Pixie Dust to all nearby Heroes.

Intensive Winds Icon Intensive Winds should be taken if you decided to go for Emerald Wind Icon Emerald Wind at Level 10 and need further disengage. Keep in mind that Mana management becomes very crucial, since it increases the Mana cost of Emerald Wind tremendously.

Invisible Friends Icon Invisible Friends provides an infinite Invisible effect on both Brightwing and the healed target. This makes the talent a great saving or initiating tool to hit enemies unseen from the shadows.

Faerie Protector Icon Faerie Protector applies a talented instance of Pixie Dust Icon Pixie Dust on all nearby allied Heroes. This a very useful talent, even if the enemy team does not rely on Ability Damage too much.

Speedy Dragon Icon Speedy Dragon increases Brightwing's Movement Speed by a large margin, which makes her much harder to catch. It can be a nice talent to pick up on larger maps like Cursed Hollow or Sky Temple, which require fast rotations, especially during the late game.
