Ability Usage:

2. Introduction

Li Li is a sustained healing Support Hero. Although she lacks any crowd control, she is able to Blind enemies with Blinding Wind Icon Blinding Wind. Li Li is capable of dealing significantly more damage than other Supports, and trades damage very well. Kung Fu Hustle Icon Kung Fu Hustle makes her one of the most powerful late-game Heroes, by allowing her to cast her abilities almost constantly.

3. Strengths

  • Blinding Wind Icon Blinding Wind is very strong versus Heroes that rely on Basic Attacks to deal damage, like Illidan
  • High sustained healing
  • Li Li is easy to play effectively
  • Good damage for a Support Hero
  • Trades damage efficiently
  • Fast Feet Icon Fast Feet makes Li Li very difficult to catch without Roots, Slows, or Stuns
  • Kung Fu Hustle Icon Kung Fu Hustle provides a massive power spike at Level 20
  • With Water Dragon Icon Water Dragon and her naturally high damage, Li Li can be a good supplemental Support if your team already has a healer

4. Weaknesses

  • Lacks any hard crowd control
  • Jug of 1,000 Cups Icon Jug of 1,000 Cups can be interrupted, severely reducing her healing output
  • Her sustained healing is ineffective versus burst damage, as allies will die before they can be healed
  • Healing Brew Icon Healing Brew and Jug of 1,000 Cups Icon Jug of 1,000 Cups automatically heal the ally with the lowest current percentage of health, which is not always optimal
  • Poor waveclear

5. Role in the Current Meta

Li Li is very effective in long, drawn-out fights, where her low cooldowns and relatively high sustained damage and healing can be taken advantage of. Blinding Wind Icon Blinding Wind is very good at dealing with Heroes that rely on Basic Attacks, like Illidan, Raynor, and Sgt. Hammer, especially with Mass Vortex Icon Mass Vortex at Level 4. Li Li is a good fit for team compositions made up of a strong frontline with multiple tanks, whose goal it is to outlast the enemy team.

Li Li's biggest weakness is hard crowd control, like Stuns and Roots, as they prevent her from taking advantage of Fast Feet Icon Fast Feet. Silences, Polymorphs, interrupts, and Stuns will interrupt Jug of 1,000 Cups Icon Jug of 1,000 Cups, a semi-channelled ability, reducing a large portion of her healing output, especially if it is interrupted near the beginning of its duration. In team fights, Li Li should always be near her allies, providing them with healing while they provide her with damage.
