TBC Classic Holy Priest Phase 1 / Tier 4 Gear and Best in Slot
On this page, you will find the best Tier 4 PvE gear and best in slot items for your Holy Priest in TBC Classic Phase 1.
Holy Priest Phase One Best in Slot Gear
In this section we will go over the different gear available for Holy Priests in phase one raids. We will offer multiple different pieces as some can be rather expensive or very rare to find. It is also recommended as a Priest to avoid wearing too many pieces of gear with little-to-no Stamina, as you already have a low base health pool.
Other Holy Priest Best in Slot (BiS) Lists
If you are starting out as a freshly-leveled Holy Priest, our pre-raid best in slot list is meant to give you an idea of non-raid items you can chase as a solo / pug player in preparation for raids.
Do note that items from Heroic dungeons or that require Primal Nethers (which are obtained from Heroics) can be harder to get than raid items due to their daily lockout. Some Heroic dungeons are also harder than most of Karazhan.
If, however, your character is ready to take on the content of Tier 5, then please utilize our updated Phase 2 list instead.
|Best||Light-Collar of the Incarnate||1 x Insightful Earthstorm Diamond, 1 x Purified Shadow Pearl||Prince Malchezaar — Karazhan|
|Option||Headdress of the High Potentate||Echo of Medivh — Karazhan|
Light-Collar of the Incarnate is an extremely powerful helmet, offering an abundance of base stats and Bonus Healing, in addition to gem sockets and even some Mana per 5.
|Best||Teeth of Gruul||Gruul the Dragonkiller — Gruul's Lair|
|Best||Shining Chain of the Afterworld||Netherspite — Karazhan|
|Option||Emberspur Talisman||Nightbane — Karazhan|
We have a few very solid neck choices here; grab whichever one you can get easiest.
|Best||Primal Mooncloth Shoulders||Primal Mooncloth Shoulders — Tailoring|
|Best||Light-Mantle of the Incarnate||2 x Teardrop Living Ruby||High King Maulgar — Gruul's Lair|
|Option||Pauldrons of the Solace-Giver||The Curator — Karazhan|
Primal Mooncloth Shoulders remain a great pair of shoulders when using the 3-set. Light-Mantle of the Incarnate are better individually and can be used when more health is required to survive.
|Option||Stainless Cloak of the Pure Hearted||Prince Malchezaar — Karazhan|
|Option||Lifegiving Cloak||BoE World Drop|
|Option||Bishop's Cloak||25 x Badge of Justice|
Our pre-raid BiS cloaks remain very strong options here still, with Stainless Cloak of the Pure Hearted taking over slightly as a better choice.
|Best||Primal Mooncloth Robe||1 x Luminous Noble Topaz, 1 x Purified Shadow Pearl||Primal Mooncloth Robe — Tailoring|
|Option||Robes of the Incarnate||3 x Teardrop Living Ruby||Magtheridon's Lair|
Primal Mooncloth Robe remains your best option for pure healing stats, but Robes of the Incarnate are a good option if Stamina is ever needed.
|Best||Bands of the Benevolent||Talon King Ikiss — Sethekk Halls (Heroic)|
|Best||Bands of Indwelling||Maiden of Virtue — Karazhan|
Bands of the Benevolent remain a great choice, being nearly identical to your raid upgrade Bands of Indwelling. Either option is good; take whichever you can get.
|Best||Gloves of Saintly Blessings||1 x Teardrop Living Ruby, 1 x Purified Shadow Pearl||Attumen the Huntsman — Karazhan|
|Best||Handwraps of the Incarnate||The Curator — Karazhan|
Both glove options offer very similar stats, making either choice worth taking.
|Best||Primal Mooncloth Belt||1 x Luminous Noble Topaz, 1 x Purified Shadow Pearl||Primal Mooncloth Belt — Tailoring|
|Option||Cincture of Will||Terestian Illhoof — Karazhan|
Primal Mooncloth Belt is an amazing belt, easily still your best belt for the rest of Tier 4.
|Best||Gilded Trousers of Benediction||3 x Teardrop Living Ruby||Doomwalker|
|Recommended||Pantaloons of Repentance||3 x Teardrop Living Ruby||Netherspite — Karazhan|
|Option||Pontifex Kilt||3 x Teardrop Living Ruby||Warlord Kalithresh — Steamvault (Heroic)|
Gilded Trousers of Benediction are an incredible pair of leggings, but as they come from a world boss they will be extremely difficult to obtain. Pantaloons of Repentance are a very strong alternative and much easier to earn.
|Best||Boots of the Incorrupt||Shade of Aran — Karazhan|
|Option||Boots of the Pious||Pathaleon the Calculator — Heroic The Mechanar|
Boots of the Incorrupt are not much better than your pre-raid best in slot options, but they are an upgrade nonetheless.
|Best||Violet Signet of the Grand Restorer||The Violet Eye — Exalted|
|Best||Naaru Lightwarden's Band||Magtheridon's Lair|
|Option||Jade Ring of the Everliving||Prince Malchezaar — Karazhan|
|Option||Mender's Heart-Ring||Terestian Illhoof — Karazhan|
|Option||Band of Halos||25 x Badge of Justice|
Luckily we have quite a few options here for our ring slot. Grab the best ones you can and fill in with some of the easier options.
|Best||Essence of the Martyr||41 x Badge of Justice|
|Best||Darkmoon Card: Blue Dragon||Darkmoon Beast Deck|
|Best||Scarab of the Infinite Cycle||Aeonus — Black Morass|
|Best||Eye of Gruul||Gruul the Dragonkiller — Gruul's Lair|
|Option||Alchemist's Stone||Alchemist's Stone — Alchemy|
Priests have a large selection of trinkets available to them and they should be using most of the mentioned trinkets, swapping them in and out as needed. Darkmoon Card: Blue Dragon remains as your best in slot Mana regeneration trinket as Circle of Healing makes it much easier to proc.
Finally, Alchemist's Stone offers a huge increase to Mana regen, averaging out to be 40 Mana per 5. It is worth noting that this trinket can be swapped in and out during trash to greatly increase the Mana gained from your potions.
Utilize the best trinkets for the best situation. On longer fights aim for more Mana regeneration trinkets, such as Darkmoon Card: Blue Dragon or Alchemist's Stone. Shorter fights will favor Bonus Healing trinkets if you do not run the risk of running out of Mana.
Main Hand Weapon
|Best||Light's Justice||Prince Malchezaar — Karazhan|
|Option||Gladiator's Salvation||PvP Arena|
|Option||Shard of the Virtuous||Maiden of Virtue — Karazhan|
Light's Justice is a massive weapon upgrade, lasting you through all of Tier 5. Your PvP weapon still remains a solid choice until you can get it, or grab a Shard of the Virtuous if you do not have that.
Off Hand Weapon
|Best||Windcaller's Orb||Cenarion Expedition — Exalted|
|Option||Tears of Heaven||25 x Badge of Justice|
|Option||Aran's Soothing Sapphire||Shade of Aran — Karazhan|
|Option||Signet of Unshakable Faith||Moroes — Karazhan|
Windcaller's Orb is still your go-to off-hand option, offering more than anything found in Tier 4. If you are not at the required reputation yet, grab one of the easier options until you can get there.
|Best||Blue Diamond Witchwand||The Crone from the Opera Event — Karazhan|
Blue Diamond Witchwand is a nice upgrade from our pre-raid options, and is the only healing wand available to us in Phase One raids.
