Uliana Seven-Sided Strike Monk Speed Farming Variation
The Uliana Seven-Sided Strike Monk deals with regular Rift farming decently all the way through the highest Torments, making it a viable build for the task. We have speed farming rankings if you want to know more about which builds are best for speed farming.
Within the limited scope of regular difficulties, the necessary damage and toughness to triumph over the enemy is significantly smaller. Thus, your best course of action is to improve utility and speed.

When you are speed farming regular rifts, parts of your playstyle will adapt to the lowered challenge and focus more on speed and utility.
When farming, the Uliana Monk beelines directly to the densest fight possible, using a combination of Dashing Strike Way of the Falling Star and Mantra of Conviction Annihilation for mobility. Once you triple-attack to apply an Exploding Palm with Way of the Hundred Fists and detonate the first pack with Seven-Sided Strike (everything should die immediately), you can pretty much keep a chain of SSS-detonations from one pack to another, using stragglers to keep spreading the Exploding Palms. When necessary, simply spread another EP with a triple attack and keep up the destruction, aiming to get back-to-back procs of In-geom, and maintain the passive defense of Epiphany in the background.
During regular Rift farm, the timing and density-sensitive, additive damage increase of Assimilation is excessive; it can be replaced by the movement speed bonus of Blazing Fists.
Finalize the speed farming build with a swap of Blinding Speed to the Way of the Falling Star rune to enjoy a sizable increase of post- Dashing Strike movement speed.
The passive selection from the progression is still quite valuable: Harmony for the overall toughness, Beacon of Ytar for the Cooldown Reduction, and Mythic Rhythm for the damage buff to Seven-Sided Strike. If you trust your survivability, you can consider dropping Near Death Experience for a utility passive like Fleet Footed or Momentum.
You will still be taking advantage of the full 6-piece set bonuses of Uliana, incorporating the same split as you would in progression — but instead of the Cpt. Crimson set,you will be including the Sage's Journey set for Death's Breath farming. Take Sage's Ribbon and Sage's Passage, and then complete both the Uliana and Sage set bonuses with a Ring of Royal Grandeur in the Cube.
A progression-oriented combo like Convention of Elements and the Endless Walk set will be too slow, defensive and timing-dependent for farming purposes; they are best replaced by a Cold % Stone of Jordan and an Avarice Band respectively. Avarice Band is a cache legendary from Act III bounties that offers considerable utility in the form of pickup radius, synergizing perfectly with a socketed Boon of the Hoarder and Goldwrap. In turn, Stone of Jordan offers a consistent damage increase that is more suited to speed farming. These speedrun rings are best completed with a Squirt's Necklace for the additional damage multiplier.
Finally, consider swapping one of the dedicated Seven-Sided Strike legendary weapons for In-geom during regular Rifts, as the cooldown reduction procs of the latter will ensure your near-limitless mobility and damage potential as long as you maintain elite killing streaks. Our general recommendation is to swap Lion's Claw and keep a The Fist of Az'Turrasq plus In-geom combo.

Bane of the Trapped astill brings excellent damage multiplication value to the build in speed farming.

Adapting Kanai's Cube
The Flow of Eternity is still a necessary part of a Seven-Sided Strike setup, taking up the weapon slot in the Cube.
Our recommendation for the armor Cube slot is Goldwrap, since its synergy with Boon of the Hoarder and Avarice Band will render you practically invincible during regular Rifts. If you are comfortable with your base survivability and want for more speed, you can consider Madstone in this slot to skip the triple generator attack for application of Exploding Palm.
Lastly, in order to maintain the valuable 6-piece bonus of Uliana and 3-piece bonus of the Sage set, you will need to cube a Ring of Royal Grandeur in the jewelry slot.
The Kanai's Cube can be used for much more than simply extracting Legendary powers from items. Please refer to our Kanai's Cube guide for more information.
