TBC Classic Shadow Priest Phase 3 / 4 Gear and Best in Slot

In this guide we will go over the different gear available for Shadow Priests in Phase Four of TBC Classic. We will offer multiple different pieces as some can be rather expensive or very rare to find. Some slots have multiple "best" items that can change depending on your current gear and Hit Rating needs. During Black Temple, you may also have need of additional gear devoted to maximizing your Shadow Resistance stat. Should this be the case, we recommend consulting our guide dedicated to acquiring pieces with this stat as necessary.

If you are starting out as a freshly-leveled Shadow Priest, our pre-raid best in slot list is meant to give you an idea of non-raid items you can chase as a solo / pug player in preparation for raids. If your character is still progressing through the content of older tiers, then you may wish to consult their best in slot lists instead.

Hood of Hexing is a very solid helm option available in Phase Four. Pick this one up if you have not gotten a better option yet in Tier 6.

Option	Ritssyn's Lost Pendant	Trash mobs — Karazhan

Loop of Cursed Bones is a great necklace that can be easily picked up. If you do not need spell hit from your other options, this neck is your best in slot in Phase 4.

Mantle of Ill Intent are a solid option if you have not gotten anything better yet.

Robe of Departed Spirits is a great option if you have not grabbed any of the 25 man raiding chests.

Bracers of Nimble Thought are your best in slot option and should be easy to obtain as they are crafted. If you cannot get them you have a few other options.

Studious Wraps are easy to pick up with Badge of Justice if you do not have anything better yet. If you have any of the other options it may be better off saving the badges.

Zhar'doom, Greatstaff of the Devourer is our best in slot weapon for Phase 3. There are a few other options available with Season 3 PvP weapons being the best option, but hard to obtain.

Orb of the Soul-Eater remains your best in slot off-hand option even in Phase Three. Chronicle of Dark Secrets is a close second option if you need the hit rating, but is better suited for other classes first.
