Level 1 Talents for Whitemane

Whitemane Pity the Frail
Pity the Frail (Level 1) World of Warcraft Whitemane

For every Hero hit with Searing Lash, lower the cooldown of Inquisition by 1.5 seconds. Allies below 30% Health receive 25% more healing from Whitemane.

Whitemane Righteous Flame ?
Righteous Flame (Level 1) World of Warcraft Whitemane

Searing Lash deals 25% more damage to enemies. This is increased to 50% against those who are Stunned, Rooted, Silenced or Slowed.

Whitemane Inquisitor's Prayer
Inquisitor's Prayer (Level 1) World of Warcraft Whitemane

Quest: Hit Heroes with Searing Lash.

Reward: Each Hero hit grants 3 permanent Health and 2 permanent Mana. Heroes hit with the second strike count as 2 hits.

Pity the Frail Icon Pity the Frail increases all of your healing to targets with low Health; it also reduces the Cooldown of Inquistion for each enemy Hero hit by Searing Lash.

Righteous Flame Icon Righteous Flame will increase the healing received by allies with Zeal by increasing the damage of Searing Lash. Additional damage will be applied if the target is Stunned, Rooted, Silenced, or Slowed. Whitemane can trigger this additional damage herself by casting Inquisition before Searing Lash impacts. During teamfights, your allies are likely to apply crowd-control that will help you trigger the additional damage and healing.

Inquisitor's Prayer Icon Inquisitor's Prayer is a quest that adds permanent Health and Mana for each hero hit with Searing Lash. The permanent Mana you gain from this Talent can enable you to cast Desperate Plea a few more times during the late-game.

Level 4 Talents for Whitemane

Whitemane Unwavering Faith ?
Unwavering Faith (Level 4) World of Warcraft Whitemane

Increase Whitemane's Basic Attack range by 1.1. Whitemane gains 15% increased Basic Attack damage for each active Zeal buff.

Whitemane Martyrdom
Martyrdom (Level 4) World of Warcraft Whitemane

Desperate Plea's healing is increased by 30%. Increase this by an additional 10% for each active Zeal.

Whitemane Indulgence
Indulgence (Level 4) World of Warcraft Whitemane

Gain 5% Movement Speed. Increase this by an additional 5% for each active Zeal.

Unwavering Faith Icon Unwavering Faith increases Basic Attack damage and range, making it easier to deliver Basic Attacks. Since dealing damage increases healing via Zeal Icon Zeal, this Talent makes Whitemane heal more.

Martyrdom Icon Martyrdom increases your healing without the need of enemy Heroes nearby, basically mitigating the main weakness that Whitemane has: the need to damage enemy Heroes to heal. All that said, it provides good healing in team fights as well.

Indulgence Icon Indulgence gives Whitemane much needed mobility. It can help you dodge skillshots or get into position to land Searing Lash. Indulgence pairs well with Zealous Spirit Icon Zealous Spirit and Scarlet Aegis Icon Scarlet Aegis, both of which help create additional Zeal.

Level 7 Talents for Whitemane

Whitemane Zealous Spirit ?
Zealous Spirit (Level 7) World of Warcraft Whitemane

Upon reaching 2 stacks of Desperation, Whitemane gains Zeal.

Whitemane Scarlet Wrath ?
Scarlet Wrath (Level 7) World of Warcraft Whitemane

Basic Attacks against Heroes increase the duration of active Zeal by 0.5 seconds.

Whitemane Intercession
Intercession (Level 7) World of Warcraft Whitemane
  • Cooldown: 45 seconds

Activate to make an ally Unstoppable for 1 second and gain 1 stack of Desperation.

Zealous Spirit Icon Zealous Spirit is a tool that helps you manage your Mana by creating a Zeal buff (on yourself) that does not generate a stack of Desperation. This means that you can have 3 recently activated Zeal buffs with only two stacks of Desperation. Another way to think about this is that the sustainable amount of active Zeal targets is increased from 2 to 3. Because the number of active Zeal buffs essentially multiplies your potential healing output, this is the recommended Talent in this tier.

Scarlet Wrath Icon Scarlet Wrath increases the duration of active Zeal buffs each time Whitemane delivers a Basic Attack. This indirectly saves mana, because a prolonged Zeal buff does not need to be recast. This Talent works well with the increased Basic Attack range provided by Unwavering Faith.

Intercession Icon Intercession is one of two tools that Whitemane has that can grant an ally Unstoppable, the other option being Scarlet Crusade Icon Scarlet Crusade at Level 20. Intercession has the unfortunate side effect of generating a stack of Desperation.

Level 10 Talents for Whitemane

Whitemane Scarlet Aegis
Scarlet Aegis (Level 10) World of Warcraft Whitemane
  • Cooldown: 60 seconds

Bolster the spirits of nearby allied Heroes, healing them for 250 (+4% per level) and granting them 40 Armor for 4 seconds.

Whitemane Divine Reckoning ?
Divine Reckoning (Level 10) World of Warcraft Whitemane
  • Cooldown: 75 seconds

After 1 second, consecrate an area for 4 seconds, dealing 50 (+4% per level) damage every 0.5 seconds to enemies inside. 25% of the damage dealt to Heroes is returned as Mana.

Scarlet Aegis Icon Scarlet Aegis is a fantastic Heroic that heals all nearby allies, which applies Zeal to them. This means that you can apply Zeal to all teammates simultaneously without gaining any Desperation stacks. The armor provided by this Heroic is also very beneficial, and can counter the Armor debuff that is caused by activating Zeal Icon Zeal.

Divine Reckoning Icon Divine Reckoning deals damage over time in an area, and restores some mana based on damage dealt. This can be a great way to increase Zeal's healing. Divine Reckoning works best in team compositions that can help trap enemies inside the consecrated area.

Level 13 Talents for Whitemane

Whitemane Subjugation
Subjugation (Level 13) World of Warcraft Whitemane

Inquisition reduces all damage the target deals by 50%.

Whitemane Lashing Out ?
Lashing Out (Level 13) World of Warcraft Whitemane

If Searing Lash's second strike hits an enemy Hero, reduce its cooldown to 1 second.

Whitemane Saintly Greatstaff ?
Saintly Greatstaff (Level 13) World of Warcraft Whitemane

Enemy Heroes hit by Searing Lash are marked for 3 seconds. Basic Attacks against them deal an additional 55 (+4% per level) Spell damage and remove the mark.

Subjugation Icon Subjugation greatly reduces the damage of any enemies affected by Inquisition. It pairs extremely well with Shared Punishment Icon Shared Punishment, which can double the number of affected enemy Heroes.

Lashing Out Icon Lashing Out allows you to cast Searing Lash much more often in team fights, as long as the second strike hits an enemy Hero.

Saintly Greatstaff Icon Saintly Greatstaff increases damage and Zeal healing from Basic Attacks against enemies that have been marked by Searing Lash. This is an excellent addition to the Basic Attack build.

Level 16 Talents for Whitemane

Whitemane Radiance ?
Radiance (Level 16) World of Warcraft Whitemane

Upon reaching 3 stacks of Desperation, all allies with Zeal are healed for 175 (+4% per level).

Whitemane Shared Punishment
Shared Punishment (Level 16) World of Warcraft Whitemane

Upon casting, Inquisition can chain to an additional enemy Hero near its target, dealing 35 (+4% per level) damage every 0.5 seconds. Affected enemies lose 10 Armor.

Whitemane Harsh Discipline ?
Harsh Discipline (Level 16) World of Warcraft Whitemane

Hitting a Hero with Searing Lash while they are being targeted by Inquisition Roots them for 1.5 seconds.

Radiance Icon Radiance is a powerful tool that can help Whitemane heal more than usual, mostly in the form of burst healing. A common trick is to use this in combination with Scarlet Aegis Icon Scarlet Aegis to make it trigger on as many allied Heroes as possible rather than only on 3 Heroes, however, you still need to use Desperate Plea Icon Desperate Plea to reach 3 stack of Desperation in order to do so. A secret trick is to make it trigger by reaching 3 stacks of Desperation, use Inquisition Icon Inquisition or Clemency Icon Clemency to remove 1 stack of Desperation, and make it trigger again by going back to 3 stacks of Desperation.

Shared Punishment Icon Shared Punishment increases healing by doubling the number of Inquisition targets. It also reduces the armor of enemies affected by Inquisition. Shared Punishment will still cause Inquisition to chain to an enemy if it is cast onto an ally via Clemency Icon Clemency. This enables you to position more safely while channeling Inquisition for damage.

Harsh Discipline Icon Harsh Discipline is the only Talent in Whitemane's kit that can inflict hard crowd-control. While being a crowd control Talent, Harsh Discipline might indirectly increase your healing by ensuring that the second strike of Searing Lash Icon Searing Lash will hit an enemy Hero and produce damage that will be converted to healing thanks to Zeal Icon Zeal, however, following up on crowd control by allied Heroes will give you the same result anyways, unless your team lacks crowd control, in which case you might like this Talent a bit more.

Level 20 Talents for Whitemane

Whitemane Scarlet Crusade
Scarlet Crusade (Level 20) World of Warcraft Whitemane

Scarlet Aegis heals for 50% more and makes affected allies Unstoppable for 2 seconds.

Whitemane Judgment Day ?
Judgment Day (Level 20) World of Warcraft Whitemane

Divine Reckoning deals 50% more damage and pulls enemies to its center the first time it hits them.

Whitemane Guiding Light ?
Guiding Light (Level 20) World of Warcraft Whitemane
  • Cooldown: 30 seconds

Activate to cast a permanent Zeal on an allied Hero that costs no Mana and doesn't grant Desperation. Only one can be active at a time and has global cast range.

Whitemane Purge the Wicked ?
Purge the Wicked (Level 20) World of Warcraft Whitemane
  • Cooldown: 40 seconds

Activate to blast an enemy Hero with holy fire, reducing their Armor by 25 and dealing 300 (+4% per level) damage over 4 seconds.

Scarlet Crusade Icon Scarlet Crusade is a great Level 20 Talent that can grant multiple allies, and even Whitemane, Unstoppable. During the late-game, preventing or removing incoming crowd-control Abilities can often mean turning the game in your team's favour. This Talent is highly recommended.

Judgment Day Icon Judgment Day is a strong upgrade for Divine Reckoning that adds a bit of crowd-control to the consecrated area. If your team composition's win condition is to chain damage dealing Heroics, this may be a good option.

Guiding Light Icon Guiding Light can be activated to permanently grant Zeal to an ally. If you have Talents that benefit from active Zeal, this can be a good option.

Purge the Wicked Icon Purge the Wicked can help your team secure a takedown on the enemy tank by reducing their armor. If they have been very difficult to kill throughout the match, take this Talent.
