Carrion Drake is a Hunter-only minion. This card was introduced with The Witchwood and can now only be obtained through crafting. Below the card images, you will find explanations to help you use the card optimally in every game mode of Hearthstone.

Carrion Drake is a very powerful minion if you are able to activate the Battlecry effect. The combination of Poisonous and 7 Health on a 5-drop can easily trade into multiple enemy minions efficiently control the board.

In Constructed, Carrion Drake is a good choice for Midrange Hunter decks. It has very few powerful Hunter cards to compete with in the 5 Mana slot and is an excellent way to draw out removal before powerful threats like Savannah Highmane.

In Arena, Carrion Drake is a great card. It is an excellent tool for generating a card advantage over opponents and the frequent back and forth trading in Arena makes it very easy to activate the Battlecry effect.
