Warsong Commander is a Warrior-only minion. Below the card images, you will find explanations to help you use the card optimally in every game mode of Hearthstone.

Warsong Commander was adjusted in a balance patch from Blizzard. In its previous form it was used in very specific combo decks like Grim Patron Warrior in order to create extremely powerful turns. This strategy was deemed too oppressive and Blizzard chose to drastically rework the card. In its current form it offers no real benefit to any viable deck strategy and is worse in most situations than Raid Leader, which is already a poor card.

Warsong Commander is not currently viable in any Warrior deck. Its effect is too specific, and even in the cases where it activates, it provides such a small advantage that it is usually not worth a card.

Warsong Commander is no longer available in Arena.
