Woodcutter's Axe is a Warrior-only weapon. This card was introduced with The Witchwood and can now only be obtained through crafting. Below the card images, you will find explanations to help you use the card optimally in every game mode of Hearthstone.

Woodcutters Axe is a cheap Warrior weapon designed to synergise with decks using many Rush minions. If no value can be obtained from the Deathrattle effect, then the card is very poor by itself.

In Constructed, Woodcutters Axe is a fairly weak card that does not fit into any archetype.

In Arena, Woodcutters Axe is an above average card. Even if no value can be gained from the Deathrattle effect, weapons are always a great source of removal in Arena.
