General Comments
Living Roots is another card for Druid with superb versatility due to its Choose One effect. It can function as an excellent early game removal for a card such as Knife Juggler, but also has the backup plan of generating 1/1 tokens if the situation does not call for a removal option.
Constructed Play
In Constructed, Living Roots does not fit particularly well into Druid decks that aim to accelerating out large minions with card like Wild Growth. However, it can function superbly in a deck that aims to flood the board with cards like Violet Teacher and other low-cost minions.
Arena
Living Roots is no longer available in Arena.
