Blackwater Pirate is a neutral minion. This card was introduced with Whispers of the Old Gods and can now only be obtained through crafting. Below the card images, you will find explanations to help you use the card optimally in every game mode of Hearthstone.

Blackwater Pirate may look appealing in a Pirate deck or a deck that plays lots of weapons, however usually Dread Corsair is a much more effective Tempo play in the majority of situations.

Blackwater Pirate can be considered for a Pirate deck in Warrior or Rogue, but generally it is eclipsed by Dread Corsair which fulfills a similar role and usually does so more effectively.

Blackwater Pirate is no longer available in Arena.
