Elementary Reaction is a Shaman-only spell. This card was introduced with The Boomsday Project and can now only be obtained through crafting. Below the card images, you will find explanations to help you use the card optimally in every game mode of Hearthstone.

Elementary Reaction is a solid card draw tool for decks with Elemental synergies. If the additional effect can be triggered, it performs the same effect as Mimic Pod. This effect can be great in long games where fatigue damage is expected, but is not as useful in tough situations where you are looking to draw specific cards from you deck.

Elementary Reaction occasionally sees play in Shaman decks that run natural Elemental synergies, such as Even Shaman.

Elementary Reaction is a Weak card in Arena. You will not get consistent value from the Elemental synergy in Arena due to the drafting mechanics, often resulting in the card being a 2 Mana card cycle.
