Drain Life is a Warlock-only spell. 2 copies of this card are given to you with the Basic set of the game. You receive a golden version of this card for reaching Level 45 and 46 with Warlock. Below the card images, you will find explanations to help you use the card optimally in every game mode of Hearthstone.

Drain Life is an extremely inefficient source of removal. The health that you gain is not worth including it in your deck over a more efficient card like Darkbomb.

Drain Life is a very poor card in Constructed and should not be considered in your deck under any circumstances.

Drain Life is a poor card in Arena, and in most situations you should avoid drafting it. However, if you are very late in your draft and do no yet have much removal, you can choose it over other mediocre cards.
