Shriek is a Warlock-only spell. This card was introduced with Rastakhan's Rumble and can now only be obtained through crafting. Below the card images, you will find explanations to help you use the card optimally in every game mode of Hearthstone.

Shriek is a very cheap AoE tool that Discards a card when played. The Discard effect always targets your lowest cost card, making the effect very predictable compared to other Discard effects.

In Constructed, Shriek is reasonable enough to fit into almost any Warlock deck and is particularly strong in decks that use cards like Soulwarden.

In Arena, Shriek is an excellent card. AoE effects are very valuable in Arena and as a 1-Mana card, Shriek offers both excellent tempo and value.
