Freezing Potion is a Mage-only spell. This card was introduced with Mean Streets of Gadgetzan and can now only be obtained through crafting. Below the card images, you will find explanations to help you use the card optimally in every game mode of Hearthstone.

Freezing Potion is a cheap Spell which provides Mage with a cheap activator for cards such as Shatter and Cryomancer. Although the card may appear underwhelming, cheap Spells help provide strong Tempo plays when combined with Flamewaker or Mana Wyrm.

In Constructed, Freezing Potion does not have a place in any currently existing decks. However, with a growing number of Freeze synergy cards in Mage it may see play in future Midrange Freeze Mage decks.

Freezing Potion is no longer available in Arena.
