Tier 17 sets were introduced with the second raid of the first tier of Warlords of Draenor: Blackrock Foundry. Warriors have 3 Tier 17 sets: Normal set (item level 665), Heroic set (item level 680), and Mythic set (item level 695). Pieces for Tier 17 sets cannot be obtained through LFR.

Pieces for the Tier 17 Normal set are created by tokens that drop from select bosses from Blackrock Foundry, in Normal difficulty. These tokens can also be chosen as rewards of the quest started by Essence of the Iron Protector (Alliance) or Essence of the Iron Protector (Horde), which can drop from Blackhand, the last boss of Blackrock Foundry.

• Head: Blackhand's Faceguard, dropped by Kromog
• Shoulders: Blackhand's Shoulderguards, dropped by Operator Thogar
• Chest: Blackhand's Chestguard, dropped by Flamebender Ka'graz
• Hands: Blackhand's Handguards, dropped by The Iron Maidens
• Legs: Blackhand's Legguards, dropped by The Blast Furnace
