Holy Paladin PvP Guide — Midnight Season 1
General Information
This guide will walk you through everything you need to know to play Holy Paladin in a PvP environment. The guide will cover everything from talent choices, PvP talents, gameplay and rotation, and useful racial bonuses. It is most applicable to Arena content, but most talents and racial bonuses will work in Rated Battlegrounds and skirmishes.

Holy Paladins in the Current Meta
Holy Paladins are always a strong healing specialization. With powerful utility for teammates and the ability to deal large amounts of damage, they are considered one of the best healers. A strong understanding of cooldowns and when to use them is important to be good at this specialization.
Strong Single-Target Healing
Holy Paladins have some of the best
single-target healing amongst all healers.
Lightsmith gives you access to
Holy Bulwark. This helps increase
your overall healing output. In addition
to healing, you also have powerful cooldowns,
such as 
Lay on Hands, 
Blessing of Protection, and 
Blessing of Freedom.

Changes to Holy Paladin for the Midnight

Holy Paladin received nerfs utility, but also received several healing buffs.
Vengeful Wrath now increases Hammer of Wrath damage by
up to 20% based on the target’s health (was 50%).
Blessing of Spellwarding duration reduced to 6 seconds in PvP
combat (was 10 seconds).
Eternal Flame healing increased by 20% in PvP
combat.

Holy Paladins received some nerfs that reduces their sustained healing output and Mana regeneration.
Reflection of Radiance’s proc rate has been significantly
reduced for Holy Paladins.- Mana regeneration reduced by 30% in PvP combat.

Notable Midnight Changes to Holy Paladins
- New spells:
Ringing of the Heavens, 
Call of the Righteous, and 
Seek Deliverance. The most powerful new ability is Ringing of the Heavens, causing 
Aura Mastery to cast a 
Divine Toll when it is activated. This is great for your overall healing output and gives you an additional way to burst heal when you need to cast spells. - Removed spells:
Rebuke, 
Blessing of Summer, and 
Repentance. These are all crucial spells for Holy Paladin and the loss of them will significantly hinder this specialization. No kick and no spammable crowd control will force you to play much more passive than previous patches. - Changed abilities:
- Hammer of Wrath is not merged with
Judgment. - Light of Dawn is no longer a cone in front of you, instead it heals everyone in a 40 yard radius.
Crusader Strike is no longer an active spell unless 
Avenging Crusader is active. While Avenging Crusader is active, this spell will turn into Crusader Strike that you can use.
- No major changes were done to PvP talents.
