General Information

This guide will walk you through everything you need to know to play Augmentation Evoker in a PvP environment. The guide will cover everything from talent choices, PvP talents, gameplay and rotation, and useful racial bonuses. It is most applicable to Arena content, but most talents and racial bonuses will work in Rated Battlegrounds and skirmishes.

Augmentation Evoker in the Current Meta

Evokers are the first ever support specialization added to the game. In PvP, they are there to enable their team to do more damage, not get interrupted, and make it easier to land a kill on an enemy. The playstyle of Augmentation Evoker is unique, and nothing like it has been seen in the game before.

Augmentation Evoker Strengths and Weaknesses

  • +Great mobility
  • +Countless spells to help teammates land a kill
  • +Multiple instant healing spells to keep teammate alive
  • +Several defensives make it very difficult to kill
Weaknesses icon Weaknesses
  • -If mobility is not used properly, easy to crowd control
  • -Very little crowd control
  • -30 yard range on spells makes it an easy swap target to kill

Notable Midnight Pre-Patch changes to Augmentation Evoker

  • New talents/spells: Stretch Time Icon Stretch Time, Strike from Above Icon Strike from Above,Clairvoyant Icon Clairvoyant, and Improved Defy Fate Icon Improved Defy Fate.
  • Removed talents/spells: Fire Within Icon Fire Within and Rockfall Icon Rockfall have been removed.
  • Changed talent/spells:
    • Twin Guardian Icon Twin Guardian now makes Rescue Icon Rescue increase movement speed by 100% and allows spells to be cast while moving for 3 seconds.
    • Renewing Blaze Icon Renewing Blaze upgrades Obsidian Scales Icon Obsidian Scales, causing it to heal you over 8 seconds equal to the amount of damage it reduced.
  • PvP Talent Changes: no notable PvP talent changes.
