All stats have their uses, but for Herbalism we recommend focusing on Finesse and mass basic herb farming, as you can get plenty of rare materials from overloading rare nodes you come across and all crafts require a huge amount of basic herbs to be done, as well as for Inscription milling purposes.

Perception is a decent secondary stat, but unless one of the rare reagents spikes heavily in price compared to basic materials, it is likely to not be worth chasing.

Finally, Deftness is also a decent stat, but the time you actually spend gathering is not as high as the time spent looking for nodes, especially if you are hunting for specific nodes exclusively!

Quality is a big factor in the stats you can get from the gear. Green versions are bind on equip and from trainer recipes, but blue and higher versions require specialization, faction, or renown grinding for their recipe and are bind on pickup, requiring you to submit a Crafting Order for them.

Also, remember to enchant your primary tool with Enchant Tool - Haranir Finesse to maximize your material yields.

Use Blacksmithing-crafted Refulgent Razorstone and Alchemy-crafted Haranir Phial of Finesse to temporarily increase your gathering stats while out gathering.

Herbalism cannot make gear for use by other professions.
