Stats Guide for Enchanting in Midnight

All stats have their uses, but for Enchanting we recommend focusing on Ingenuity and Resourcefulness to be able to craft higher quality items at lower costs, as most items and all Enchants do not use Multicraft.

In Midnight Ingenuity can only recover up to 70% of used Concentration even when all knowledge talents are maximized, making it less powerful than usual. On the other hand, you will always need to use very large amounts of Concentration to create items, even when your skill is very high, due to changes to how Concentration costs are calculated, making any Ingenuity proc save a lot of Concentration!

If you are focusing on consumable oils and/or race-changing deceptions, however, then Multicraft is the best stat, as it always is for any craft it can be used on.

Keep in mind that once you are fully maxed with profession skill, gear, and talents, you will be able to produce maximum rank items when using the best materials naturally, without needing to use Concentration, so at that point you should either swap all of your Ingenuity gear to Resourcefulness or use lower rank materials plus Concentration, instead.

Enchanters, like most other professions, can use three pieces of gear at once, 1 tool and 2 accessories. Epic-quality gear is best in slot.

Quality is a big factor in the stats you can get from the gear. Green versions are bind on equip and from trainer recipes, but blue and higher versions require specialization, faction, or renown grinding for their recipe and are bind on pickup, requiring you to submit a Crafting Order for them.

Remember to enchant your crafting tool with Enchant Tool - Ren'dorei Ingenuity if focusing on Concentration enchant crafting, Enchant Tool - Haranir Multicrafting for consumable crafting, or Enchant Tool - Amani Resourcefulness otherwise.

You can also use the Alchemy-crafted Phial Haranir Phial of Ingenuity to temporarily increase your crafting stats.

Finally, consider using optional reagents such as Ingenious Identity, Multicraft Matrix, or Resourceful Routing on expensive crafts that can benefit from the extra Multicraft, as these are bind on pickup anyway. Skill increasing items such as Mentor's Helpful Handiwork can be used to force a better crafting result and these can be bought and sold on the Auction House, making them useful for some of the most valuable crafts when they are being sold for cheap.

Enchanting cannot make any gear for other professions.
