Tier 2.5 pieces are rewards from quests given by Andorgos, Kandrostrasz and Vethsera, who are all located inside the Temple of Ahn'Qiraj. Completing these quests requires to obtain a certain reputation with the Brood of Nozdormu faction and to gather 5 scarabs of one kind, 5 scarabs of another kind, 2 idols of the same kind, and 1 token. All these items are obtainable in the Template of Ahn'Qiraj. The idols and the scarabs drop from trash mobs while the tokens drop from raid bosses.

The Tier 2.5 set is a particular 5-piece set, in the sense that the fifth piece is a Feet item and not a Hands item:

• Head: Conqueror's Crown
  • reward from Conqueror's Crown (given by Andorgos), which requires:
    • 5 Crystal Scarabs,
    • 5 Stone Scarabs,
    • 2 Idols of the Sun,
    • 1 Vek'nilash's Circlet (dropped by Emperor Vek'nilash), and
    • friendly reputation with the Brood of Nozdormu;
• Shoulders: Conqueror's Spaulders
  • reward from Conqueror's Spaulders (given by Andorgos), which requires:
    • 5 Clay Scarabs,
    • 5 Stone Scarabs,
    • 2 Idols of Night,
    • 1 Qiraji Bindings of Command (dropped by Viscidus or Princess Huhuran), and
    • neutral reputation with the Brood of Nozdormu;
• Chest: Conqueror's Breastplate
  • reward from Conqueror's Breastplate (given by Vethsera), which requires:
    • 5 Bone Scarabs,
    • 5 Silver Scarabs,
    • 2 Idols of War,
    • 1 Carapace of the Old God (dropped by C'Thun), and
    • honored reputation with the Brood of Nozdormu;
• Legs: Conqueror's Legguards
  • reward from Conqueror's Legguards (given by Kandrostrasz), which requires:
    • 5 Bronze Scarabs,
    • 5 Ivory Scarabs,
    • 2 Idols of Death,
    • 1 Ouro's Intact Hide (dropped by Ouro), and
    • friendly reputation with the Brood of Nozdormu;
• Feet: Conqueror's Greaves
  • reward from Conqueror's Greaves (given by Kandrostrasz), which requires:
    • 5 Gold Scarabs,
    • 5 Ivory Scarabs,
    • 2 Idols of War,
    • 1 Qiraji Bindings of Command (dropped by Viscidus or Princess Huhuran), and
    • neutral reputation with the Brood of Nozdormu.
