General Information

On this page, you will find a list of changes between Normal/Heroic modes and Mythic mode, as well as a working strategy to defeat Trilliax in The Nighthold in Mythic mode.

The other pages of our Trilliax guide can be accessed from the table of contents on the right.

Mythic Mode Abilities

On Mythic Mode, Trilliax gains a new ability known as Personality Transference Icon Personality Transference, which occurs infrequently. He will activate a Trilliax's Imprint that gains abilities inverse to the current personality Trilliax possesses (e.g. if Trilliax is in Cleaner mode, the Imprint will be a Maniac). If Trilliax's Imprint ever reaches maximum Energy, it will wipe the raid instantly. It will attempt to build Energy every 20 seconds or so by casting Energized Icon Energized on itself, which can be dispelled. If the personality of Trilliax ever matches that of the Imprint, it will gain Dual Personalities Icon Dual Personalities and generate 1% of its maximum Energy per second.

A Cleaner Imprint will cast Toxic Slice Icon Toxic Slice and Cleansing Rage Icon Cleansing Rage. A Maniac Imprint will cast Mana Rupture Icon Mana Rupture and Annihilation Icon Annihilation.

The first Trilliax's Imprint will occur at approximately 2:30 into the fight. The second Trilliax's Imprint will spawn at approximately 4:50 into the fight. The first imprint will always be a Cleaner, while the second is always a Maniac.

2.

Strategy

The strategy for Mythic mode is identical to that of Heroic save for the addition of the Trilliax's Imprint. The first imprint should be focused down as quickly as possible. The second imprint is much more dangerous, as it will cast Annihilation Icon Annihilation, but many groups will be able to ignore it as the boss will usually be very close to death as it spawns. Energized Icon Energized should always be dispelled immediately as it is cast to avoid the imprint reaching maximum Energy and wiping the raid.
