Arms Warrior PvP Stat Priority, Gear, and Trinkets — The War Within (11.0.7)

The stat priority for Arms Warriors in PvP is as follows:

1. Strength;
2. Versatility;
3. Haste=Mastery;
4. Critical Strike

Critical strike is what gives value to Impale, Sharpened Blades and Cruel Strikes, while both critical strike and haste benefit Anger Management, because of Seasoned Soldier.

Despite the above beneficial talents, Critical Strike makes for the least valuable stat, as you already gain a lot of the stat through talents, especially if you play with Warlord's Torment

Your gear goal should be to be fully equipped in Conquest gear, and this patch's tier set Warrior Arms Season 1 2pc and Warrior Arms Season 1 4pc.

You can craft up to 2 pieces of embellishment gear, that give a minor boost to performance. In general, these power increases are small for Warrior, so they do not matter all that much. You should be looking to craft Algari Competitor's Greatsword with Ascendance, as well as a piece of gear with Writhing Armor Banding. Alternatively, two rings with Elemental Focusing Lens can be an almost equally powerful substitute.

Cyrce's Circlet is a new ring introduced in Patch 11.0.7 that you can acquire by completing several activities on Siren Isle. All the effects of the ring are significantly reduced in PvP, to the point there is no point in considering if it is good, so you will want to skip this piece of equipment.

Note: It is important to wear two PvP trinkets. This will give you a boost to your primary stat and Stamina.

Forged Gladiator's Medallion is a mandatory trinket to have equipped at all times. Even Human players will want to pick up this item.

Forged Gladiator's Insignia of Alacrity is the highest sustained damage increase trinket.

Forged Gladiator's Badge of Ferocity gives you Critical Strike and provides a large increase to Strength. Works good when you wish to build for controlled burst.

The War Within has introduced Bloodstone Gems for PvP. You should pick Enduring Bloodstone. For secondary stats use Versatile Onyx.
