Best Stats and Gear Guide for Mining in Midnight

All stats have their uses, but for Mining we recommend focusing on Finesse for bulk ore farming, as a lot of basic ore is used in most crafts and you will naturally get a lot of rare materials by using your overload ability often.

Perception allows you to farm more Dazzling Thorium but this material is not likely to be extremely valuable in the long run as it has very limited crafting uses, mostly limited to crafted gear.

Deftness is also a decent stat, but the time you actually spend mining is not as high as the time spent looking for veins, especially if you are hunting for the rarer modified veins exclusively.

Miners, like most other professions, can use three pieces of gear at once, 1 tool and 2 accessories. Epic-quality items are best in slot.

Quality is a big factor in the stats you can get from the gear. Green versions are bind on equip and from trainer recipes, but blue and higher versions require specialization, faction, or renown grinding for their recipe and are bind on pickup, requiring you to submit a Crafting Order for them.

Also, remember to enchant your primary tool with Enchant Tool - Haranir Finesse to maximize your material yields.

Use Blacksmithing-crafted Refulgent Razorstone and Alchemy-crafted Haranir Phial of Finesse to temporarily increase your gathering stats while going out Mining.

Mining cannot make gear for use by other professions.
