Best Stats and Gear Guide for Leatherworking in The War Within

All stats have their uses, but for Leatherworking we recommend focusing on Ingenuity and Resourcefulness to be able to craft high quality gear at lower costs.

For creating consumables and intermediate materials, Multicraft is your best stat. If you are also using Concentration to upgrade your consumables to Rank 3 while using cheap materials, invest into Ingenuity also.

Once you are fully maxed with profession skill, gear, and talents, you will be able to produce maximum rank items when using Rank 3 materials naturally, without needing to use Concentration, so at that point you should either swap all of your Ingenuity gear and enchants to Resourcefulness or use lower rank materials plus Concentration, instead.

Leatherworkers, like most other professions, can use three pieces of gear at once, 1 tool and 2 accessories. Blue-quality gear is best in slot.

Quality is a big factor in the stats you can get from the gear. Green versions are bind on equip and from trainer recipes, but blue versions require specialization, faction, or renown grinding for their recipe and are bind on pickup, requiring you to submit a Crafting Order for them.

Remember to enchant your crafting tool with your choice of Enchant Tool - Algari Ingenuity or Enchant Tool - Algari Resourcefulness.

You can also use the Alchemy-crafted Phials Phial of Concentrated Ingenuity, Phial of Enhanced Ambidexterity, or Phial of Bountiful Seasons during the Winter part of the year to temporarily increase your crafting stats.

Finally, consider using optional reagents such as Mirror Powder and Concentration Concentrate on expensive crafts that can benefit from their one-time boosts, as these tend to be quite cheap, especially at low ranks!
