The stat priority for Balance Druid in PvP is as follows:

Intellect is the best stat in all situations. Versatility is the strongest secondary stat at all times because it increases the damage you deal and reduces the damage you take. Haste is the next strongest secondary stat because it reduces the Global Cooldown on abilities and the cast time for your spells.

In general, Balance Druids want to get trinkets that line up well with Incarnation: Chosen of Elune. Because this ability has a 2-minute cooldown, your trinkets can have a passive or on-use effect. The stat you want to be increasing is Intellect. You want to increase Intellect because it drastically increases your overall damage output.

It is important to note that ALL tier sets are nerfed to 33% effectiveness in PvP. Although this nerf is significant, some tier sets are still important to acquire to maximize your chances to win. For Balance Druids, this is your tier set:

• 2-set: Starsurge damage increased by 20%. Starfall also deals Astral damage instantly to all valid enemies in range when cast.
• 4-set: Your damage is increased by 10% while in any Eclipse. This bonus wanes to 2% at the midpoint of the Eclipse, then waxes back to 10% at the end.

In general, it is recommended to get 2-set, but not 4-set for Balance Druids

Embellishments are bonuses that can be put on crafted gear. These effects can have a drastic impact on the game. You are only allowed to have two Embellishments equipped at the same time. Here are the recommended Embellishments for Balance Druid:

• Arcanoweave Lining is the best embellishment for Balance Druids. This gives your spells and abilities a chance to empower an ally, increasing you and your teammate's primary stat. This is great for increasing your overall damage output.

Here are the best enchants for a Balance Druid:

• Helmet: Enchant Helm - Empowered Blessing of Speed
• Shoulder: Enchant Shoulders - Akil'zon's Swiftness
• Chest: Enchant Chest - Mark of the Worldsoul
• Legs: Sunfire Silk Spellthread
• Boots: Enchant Boots - Farstrider's Hunt
• Rings: Enchant Ring - Silvermoon's Tenacity
• Weapon: Enchant Weapon - Acuity of the Ren'dorei

For gems, you should primarily be using Cognitive Heliotrope for the meta slot, and filling all other gem slots with Flawless Quick Lapis.
