The guide will cover everything from talent choices, PvP talents, gameplay and rotation, and useful racial bonuses. It is most applicable to Arena content, but most talents and racial bonuses will work in Rated Battlegrounds and skirmishes.

Fire Mage is one of the most unique caster specializations. The damage
profile for Fire heavily relies on the hit-and-run playstyle. Utilizing heavy
Crowd Control setups with 
Combustion on an isolated target makes Fire
Mage is a force to be reckoned with. The main class a Mage should be looking to
pair with is a Rogue, Shadow Priest, or Warrior. With coordinated stuns into
Polymorphs and a strong healer (Holy Priest, Holy Paladin or
Restoration Druid), Fire Mage compositions typically have very large on-demand
damage, with high consistent damage as well as long crowd control chains on enemies.
Hot Streak to instantly use 
Pyroblasts. The great thing
about Fire Mages is ff one enemy tries to kite away from you during Combustion, you can
quickly and easily swap to another enemy.

Ignition now increases 
Flamestrike's 
Mastery: Ignite
damage by 15% (was 50%). Pyroblast and
Flamestrike damage by 6% (was 8%).
Fire Blast cooldown reduction reduced to
0.3 seconds (was 0.5 seconds).
Fireball damage increased by 15%.
Frostfire Bolt damage increased by 15%. Fire Blast damage increased by 25%. Ignition now increases Flamestrike's Mastery: Ignite
damage by 15% (was 50%). Pyroblast and
Flamestrike damage by 6% (was 8%). Fire Blast cooldown reduction reduced to
0.3 seconds (was 0.5 seconds). Fireball damage increased by 15%. Frostfire Bolt damage increased by 15%. Fire Blast damage increased by 25%.
