Holy Paladin PvP Stat Priority, Gear, and Trinkets — The War Within (11.1.5)

The stat priority for Holy Paladin in PvP is as follows:

1. Intellect;
2. Versatility;
3. Mastery;
4. Haste;
5. Critical Strike.

Intellect is the best stat in all situations. Versatility is the next best stat as it will increase the damage/healing you do and reduce the damage you take. This is followed up with Master. Holy Paladin Mastery ( Mastery: Lightbringer), when used with the Beacon of the Lightbringer Talent, is crucial for Holy Paladins in PvP.

In general, Holy Paladins want to get trinkets that line up well with Avenging Crusader or Avenging Wrath. These trinkets can have a passive or on-use effect. The stats you want to increase are either Intellect or Versatility. You want to increase Versatility because it increases both your damage and healing. Intellect is great for increasing your overall healing output.

• 2-set: Your healing spells have a chance to apply Insurance! to their target that heals them over 15 seconds. Insurance is consumed if an ally drops below 40% health to heal them.
• 4-set: Divine Toll applies Insurance! to allies it heals for 8 sec. Divine Toll's cooldown is reduced by 1.0 sec each time you spend Holy Power.

Embellishments are bonuses that can be put on crafted gear. These effects can have a drastic impact on the game. You are only allowed to have 2 Embellishments equipped at the same time. Here are the recommended Embellishments for Holy Paladins:

• Energy Redistribution Beacon. While above 80% health, your direct healing will redistribute up to 2% of your health to your target. This is great for increasing your overall healing output. Because this affect does stack, it is recommended to use 2 of them.
• Duskthread Lining. This Embellishment significantly increases your Versatility when you are above 80% health.
