Holy Paladin PvP Stat Priority, Gear, and Trinkets (Dragonflight 10.2)
Choosing your gear carefully is important for your Holy Paladin in PvP. We give you a stat priority to help you choose items with the right stats as well as guidance on how to pick up your best gear and your trinkets.
This page is part of our Holy Paladin PvP Guide.
Stat Priority for Holy Paladins in PvP
The stat priority for Holy Paladin in PvP is as follows:
- Intellect;
- Versatility;
- Mastery;
- Haste;
- Critical Strike.
Intellect is the best stat in all situations. Versatility is the next
best stat as it will increase the damage/healing you do and reduce
the damage you take. This is followed up with Master. Holy Paladin
Mastery ( Mastery: Lightbringer), when used with the
Beacon of the Lightbringer Talent, is crucial for Holy Paladins in
PvP.
Gear Recommendations
General Guidelines
In general, Holy Paladins want to get trinkets that line up well with
Avenging Crusader or
Avenging Wrath. These trinkets can
have a passive or on-use effect. The stats you want to be increasing are either
Intellect or Versatility. You want to increase Versatility because
it increases both your damage and healing. Intellect is great for increasing
your overall healing output. Here is the best gear we recommend you use as a
Holy Paladin.
- Head:
Zealous Pyreknight's Barbute
- Neck:
Verdant Gladiator's Amulet
- Shoulders:
Zealous Pyreknight's Ailettes

- Wrists:

Note: It is essential to be wearing 2 PvP trinkets. This will give you a Stamina and stat boost that will increase your survivability.
Tier Set
As noted above, acquiring both your 2-set and 4-set bonus is crucial. It is also important to note that ALL tier sets are nerfed by 50% in PvP. Although this nerf is significant, tier sets are still important to acquire to maximize your chances of winning. For Holy Paladins, this is your tier set:
Paladin Holy 10.1 Class Set 2pc — When
Glimmer of Light dissipates or is refreshed, it creates a
Holy Reverberation on its target to heal an ally or damage an enemy over 8 seconds. Multiple Holy Reverberation may overlap, up to 6 times. This is great for increasing healing and damage output.
Paladin Holy 10.1 Class Set 4pc —
Daybreak now increases Haste by 25% for 6 seconds, and its cooldown is reduced by 15 seconds.
Holy Paladin Embellishments
Embelishments are bonuses that can be put on crafted gear. These affects can have a drastic impact on the game. You are only allowed to have 2 Embellishments equipped at the same time. Here are the recommended Embellishments for Holy Paladins:
Blue Silken Lining. This embellishment gives you additional Mastery when you are above 90% health. This is a valuable effect to have and should be crafted on your Ring.
Infurious Warboots of Impunity. These Embellishment Boots give you a primary stat increase when you successfully interrupt, crowd control, or dispel an enemy.
Holy Paladin Gems and Enchants
Here are the best enchants for a Holy Paladin:
- Cloak:
Enchant Cloak - Homebound Speed
- Chest:
Enchant Chest - Reserve of Intellect
- Bracers:
Enchant Bracer - Devotion of Speed
- Belt:
Shadowed Belt Clasp
