Mistweaver Monk PvP Stat Priority, Gear, and Trinkets (Dragonflight 10.2)
Choosing your gear carefully is important for your Mistweaver Monk in PvP. We give you a stat priority to help you choose items with the right stats, followed by advice on how to choose the rest of your gear and your trinkets.
This page is part of our Mistweaver Monk PvP Guide.
Stat Priority for Mistweaver Monks in PvP
The stat priority for Mistweaver Monk in PvP is as follows:
- Intellect;
- Versatility;
- Mastery;
- Haste;
- Critical Strike.
Intellect is the best stat in all situations. Versatility is the most
important secondary stat as it increases the healing you do and reduces the
damage you take. Mastery ( Mastery: Gust of Mists) is also important
because it increases your overall healing output.
Note: If you plan on "Fistweaving," you should focus on Versatility/Haste.
Gear Recommendations
General Guidelines
In general, Mistweaver Monks want to get trinkets that increase their overall healing output. These trinkets can have a passive or on-use effect. The stat you want to be increasing is Versatility. The reason you want to increase Versatility is because it increases both your damage and healing and reduces the damage you take. For gear, you want anything that has Versatility and Mastery on it. This will increase your overall healing output and your survivability. Here is the best gear we recommend you use as a Mistweaver Monk.
- Head:
Mystic Heron's Hatsuburi
- Neck:
Verdant Gladiator's Amulet
- Shoulders:
Mystic Heron's Hopeful Effigy
- Cloak:
Scalewarden's Cloak
- Chest:
Mystic Heron's Burdens
- Wrists:
Scalewarden's Leather Wraps
- Hands:
Mystic Heron's Glovebills
- Waist:
Verdant Gladiator's Leather Strap
- Legs:
Verdant Gladiator's Leather Legwraps
- Feet:
Infurious Footwraps of Indemnity
- Ring 1:

- Ring 2:
Signet of Titanic Insight
- Trinket 1:
Verdant Gladiator's Medallion
- Trinket 2:
Verdant Gladiator's Insignia of Alacrity
- Staff:
Verdant Gladiator's Greatstaff
Note: It is essential to be wearing 2 PvP trinkets. This will give you a Stamina and stat boost that will increase your survivability.
Mistweaver Monk Tier Set
As noted above, acquiring both your 2-set and 4-set bonus is crucial. It is important to note that ALL tier sets are nerfed by 50% in PvP. Although this nerf is significant, tier sets are still important to acquire to maximize your changes to win. For Mistweaver Monks, this is your tier set:
Monk Mistweaver 10.2 Class Set 2pc —
Renewing Mist applies a buff to the target, increasing their healing taken from you by 50% for 8 seconds. This is a very powerful set bonus that will drastically increase your healing output.
Monk Mistweaver 10.2 Class Set 4pc — 20% of all healing you do to targets with Chi Harmony is stored and then dispersed evenly among your allies with
Renewing Mist when Chi Harmony Fades or is refreshed. This is a decent set-bonus that provides more spread healing.
Mistweaver Monk Embelishments
Embelishments are bonuses that can be put on crafted gear. These affects can have a drastic impact on the game. You are only allowed to have 2 Embelishments equipped at the same time. Here are the recommended Embelishments for Mistweaver Monk:
Statuette of Foreseen Power. This embelishment makes it so when an interrupt is used on you while you are not casted, you gain haste and are immune to all crowd control for 4 seconds. Ideally, this is crafted on rings or boots.
Blue Silken Lining. This embelishment gives you additional Mastery when you are above 90% health. Because you are rarely the kill target for most teams, this is a valuable effect to have.
Gems and Enchants
Here are the best enchants for a Mistweaver Monk:
- Bracers:
Enchant Bracer - Devotion of Speed
- Cloak:
Enchant Cloak - Homebound Speed
- Feet:
Enchant Boots - Watcher's Loam
- Chest:
Enchant Chest - Reserve of Intellect
- Belt:
Shadowed Belt Clasp
- Rings:
Enchant Ring - Devotion of Versatility
- Weapon:
Enchant Weapon - Sophic Writ
- Legs:
Temporal Spellthread
Zen Neltharite is the best gem you can use.
