Mistweaver Monk PvP Stat Priority, Gear, and Trinkets — 12.1

Last Updated: Aug 10, 2026 - 7:20 PM (7d ago)

Choosing your gear carefully is important for your Mistweaver Monk in PvP. We give you a stat priority to help you choose items with the right stats, followed by advice on how to choose the rest of your gear and your trinkets.

1.

Stat Priority for Mistweaver Monks in PvP

The stat priority for Mistweaver Monk in PvP is as follows:

Intellect
Haste
Versatility
Mastery
Critical Strike

Intellect is the best stat in all situations. Versatility is the most important secondary stat as it increases the healing you do and reduces the damage you take. Haste is the next important secondary stat, as this increases the tick rate of your important HoTs (Enveloping Mist Icon Enveloping Mist/ Renewing Mist Icon Renewing Mist). This will help keep your team alive when you get stuck in crowd control.

2.

Mistweaver Monk Gear in PvP

In general, Mistweaver Monks want to get trinkets that increase their overall healing output. These trinkets can have a passive or on-use effect. The stat you want to be increasing is Versatility. The reason you want to increase Versatility is because it increases both your damage and healing and reduces the damage you take. For gear, you want anything that has Versatility and Haste on it. This will increase your overall healing output and your survivability. Here is the best gear we recommend you use as a Mistweaver Monk.

PvP BIS List

You want to use PvP items as much as possible since they have increased item level in PvP combat. It is essential to be wearing 2 PvP trinkets. This will give you a Stamina and main-stat boost that will increase your survivability.

Mistweaver Monk Tier Set

As noted above, acquiring both your 2-set and 4-set bonus is crucial. It is important to note that ALL tier sets are nerfed to 33% effectiveness in PvP. Although this nerf is significant, tier sets are still important to acquire to maximize your chances to win. For Mistweaver Monks, this is your tier set:

  • 2-set: Rising Sun Kick Icon Rising Sun Kick deals 30% increased damage and Rushing Wind Kick Icon Rushing Wind Kick's healing is increased by 100%.
  • 4-set: Rising Sun Kick Icon Rising Sun Kick and Rushing Wind Kick Icon Rushing Wind Kick have a chance to cause their next cast to ignore their cooldown and reduce their mana cost by 100%.

In general, it is recommended to get both 2-set and 4-set for Mistweaver Monk.
