Restoration Shaman PvP Stat Priority, Gear, and Trinkets — 12.1

The stat priority for Restoration Shaman in PvP is as follows:

Intellect is the best stat in all situations. Versatility is the strongest secondary stat at all times due to it reducing the damage you take and increasing your healing output. You also want to focus on getting Mastery. This increases the effectiveness of your Mastery: Deep Healing.

Mastery is very important for healing throughput, after focusing on Versatility.

Note: It is essential that you wear two PvP trinkets. This will give you a Stamina boost from Gladiator's Distinction (Stamina +10% for healers, was 15%) that will in turn increase your survivability.

As noted above, acquiring both your 2-set and 4-set bonus is crucial. It is important to note that ALL tier sets are nerfed effectiveness in PvP. Although this nerf is significant, tier sets are still important to acquire to maximize your chances to win. For Restoration Shamans, this is your tier set:

• 2-set: Healing Wave and Chain Heal have a chance to create a Healing Rain at the target's location for 8.0 sec.
• 4-set: Every 1 sec, 1 ally inside of Healing Rain gains a watery shield (Condensation) that absorbs damage for 10 sec. Condensation absorb amount reduced by 30%.

Embellishments are bonuses that can be put on crafted gear. These effects can have a drastic impact on the game. You are only allowed to have two Embellishments equipped at the same time. Here are the recommended Embellishments for Restoration Shaman:

• Arcanoweave Lining is the best embellishment for Restoration Shamans. This gives your spells and abilities a chance to empower an ally, increasing you and your teammate's primary stat. This is great for increasing your overall damage output.
