Welcome to our MoP Remix Guide for Frost Mage! This page contains everything you need to know about getting the most out of your Frost Mage in the Patch 10.2.7 special feature, Mists of Pandaria: Remix.

This page is focused only on Frost Mage in MoP Remix. If you want to know more about MoP Remix in general, such as its rewards, check out our dedicated page below.

Best MoP Remix Levelling Talents for Frost Mage

Below, you will find our recommended levelling build and talent pickup order for your Frost Mage in MoP Remix. There are various ways of Levelling in MoP Remix, and we offer some builds for the most relevant ways.

Note that this Levelling section is specific to MoP Remix. For our Dragonflight Levelling Guide for Frost Mage, please check our dedicated Levelling page.

Best MoP Remix Levelling Build for Frost Mage

Dungeon and Raid Levelling Build Open-World Levelling Build
3.1.

Dungeon and Open World AoE Levelling Build

This build assumes you are spending a lot of time either AoEing out in the world, or running Dungeons. This should have enough power to punch through most content if you have no intention of changing builds, it is simply not the optimal single target setup.

3.2.

Raid-Focused Levelling Build

This build is simply more aligned with the single target Frost as dealt with in most of the rest of the guide.

Best Gems for Frost Mage in MoP Remix

Gems are one of the unique ways to augment your character in MoP Remix, offering offensive, defensive, and utility benefits. On this page, we list the best gems for each type. To learn more about Gems in MoP Remix in general, check out our dedicated page below.

It should be noted that these gems are by and large, untested territory. The suggestions listed should be taken as just that, suggestions of the author. Given you can freely change gems around, and the fun nature of this event, trying things that you think will work better should be encouraged!

The Tinker gems in particular are going to have a healthy mix of DPS and defense. A lot of this is just what feels good to the player. As gear increases, your relative sturdiness is going to increase, and you can likely drop the more defensive-oriented Tinkers.

  • Meta Gem: Oblivion Sphere Icon Oblivion Sphere
  • Cogwheel Gem: Dark Pact Icon Dark Pact
  • Prismatic Gems:

You will have a tremendous amount of stats as you start unlocking all Gem slots, and there is no single best stat to stack. Most of the effects from the Tinkers are Haste-scaled, which will add a fair amount of weight to Haste. Considering that we have nearly infinite stat scaling, keeping things more or less equal is not a terrible decision. Remember that Critical Strike starts to fall off in value around 33% for Frost, and that the Gem effects will benefit from all stats but Mastery. Depending on where you are in your journey, this could mean that Mastery is devalued in comparison to Dragonflight.

  • Tinker Gems:
