Introduction
WoW Remix: Pandaria is a special, limited-time event that provides a unique opportunity to relive the adventures of the Mists of Pandaria expansion at a faster pace. Newly-created characters start at Level 10 and must progress to Level 70. Loot has been redesigned to improve gameplay. You can unlock many rewards during the event that will transfer over to retail when the event ends.

WoW: Remix Mists of Pandaria launches globally on May 16, 2024, at 10:00 AM PDT. Here are the global launch times for the event:

When Does WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria End?
The event will end on August 19, 2024.
Getting Started
You only need an active World of Warcraft subscription to participate in the event. Trial accounts can also participate through Level 20 and can purchase a subscription to continue beyond Level 20.
To create a Timerunner (WoW Remix character), you must visit the Mists of Pandaria: Remix tab in the game.
The splash screen will provide you with the event's essentials.
Click the Create Timerunner button and select Timerunner to participate in the event.
The Basics
When you first enter the game, you must complete a short introductory questline.
It introduces you to Bronze, the main currency of the event, gear upgrading, and provides you with Cloak of Infinite Potential, your first unique piece of gear that gains stats throughout your journey.
Timerunning Abilities
Your Timerunner will gain access to two abilities. The first lets you extract gems from your gear, the second one lets you scrap unwanted gear for Bronze.
- Extract Gem — Extracts a gem from one of your socketed items.
- Unraveling Sands — Summon Unraveling Sands that transform your unwanted items into Bronze.
Bronze
Bronze is the main currency of the event. It is used to upgrade gear, purchase cosmetics, mounts, pets, and toys.
Bronze can by obtained by:
- Killing mobs and bosses;
- Destroying unwanted gear with Unraveling Sands;
- Clearing dungeons, raids, and scenarios;
- Opening quest caches ( Minor Bronze Cache, Lesser Bronze Cache, Bronze Cache, Greater Bronze Cache).
- You will receive a total of 40,000 Bronze when you reach Level 70 with your character. This includes alts. The quest's location is marked with a purple quest icon on the map.

Can You Fly in MoP Remix?
Yes, both Dragonriding and standard flying is available from the moment you create your character. The only locations where you cannot fly include Timeless Isle, Isle of Giants, and Isle of Thunder.
Infinite Bazaars
When you collect enough Bronze, you can visit an infinite bazaar to purchase cosmetics, mounts, pets, and even toys. There are multiple infinite bazaars scattered across Pandaria.

- Valley of the Four Winds — Halfhill Market;
- Kun-Lai SUmmit — Temple of the White Tiger;
- Townlong Steppes — Niuzao Temple;
- Dread Wastes — Kor'vess;
- Shrine of the Seven Stars — Star's Bazaar (Alliance);
- Shrine of the Two Moons — Golden Terrace (Horde).

You can purchase many unique items during the event at Infinite Bazaars. We cover all vendors and their wares in a separate guide.
Gear
WoW Remix: Pandaria comes with unique gear from various sources. The item level of gear you get changes with your current level. You can obtain standard gear by:
- Killing mobs;
- Opening Cache of Infinite Treasure received upon quest completion;
- Opening Treasure Chests;
- Clearing dungeons, raids, and completing scenarios.
Cloak of Infinite Potential
Cloak of Infinite Potential is acquired by completing the intro quest. You can increase the stats on the cloak by collecting threads. The current stats can be viewed by hovering over the Timerunner's Advantage buff with your cursor.
You can gain threads from:
- Killing mobs and raid bosses;
- Opening Cache of Infinite Treasure from quests;
- Opening Treasure Chests;
- Clearing dungeons, raids, and scenarios on any difficulty.
Threads
Threads permanently add stats to your cloak. We categorize them based on your character level.
- Level 1-29 Bracket — You can obtain common (white) threads that add +1 stat to your cloak.
- Level 30-49 Bracket — You can obtain uncommon (green) threads that add +3 stats to your cloak.
- Level 50-60 Bracket — You can obtain rare (blue) threads that add +7 stats to your cloak.
- Level 60-70 Bracket — You gain access to epic (purple) threads that give your cloak +12 stats.
Here are the stats provided by individual threads sorted by rarity (common/uncommon/rare/epic):
- Thread of Critical Strike — Increases Critical Strike by 1/3/7/12.
- Thread of Experience — Increases XP gains by 1/3/7/12.
- Thread of Haste — Increases Haste by 1/3/7/12.
- Thread of Leech — Increases Leech by 1/3/7/12.
- Thread of Mastery — Increases Mastery by 1/3/7/12.
- Thread of Power — Increases Primary Stat by 1/3/7/12.
- Thread of Speed — Increases Speed by 1/3/7/12.
- Thread of Stamina — Increases Stamina by 1/3/7/12.
- Thread of Versatility — Increases Versatility by 1/3/7/12.
Threads Catch-Up
At certain thread breakpoints, you will receive achievements that make your Future Timerunning characters begin with Threads collected. These breakpoints occur at 40, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, and 2200 Threads collected.
Amulets, Rings, and Trinkets
If you do not come across any amulets, rings, or trinket drops, it is because they are gated behind the event's achievements.
As of May 24th, the unlocks are account-wide.
- Timerunner's Amulet — You will receive it upon completing all Pandaria raids on Normal Difficulty ( Pandaria Raids).
- Timerunner's Ring is rewarded upon completing all scenarios on Heroic Difficulty ( Heroic: Pandaria Scenarios).
- Timerunner's Seal is obtained by clearing all Pandaria dungeons on Heroic Difficulty from Heroic: Pandaria Dungeons.
- Timerunner's Beacon is awarded from completing any of the 3 achievements with a Timerunner ( Escalation).
- Timerunner's Idol is obtained upon reaching Level 70 with a Timerunner ( Timerunner).
Gems
Gear pieces come with empty spell sockets. These are intended for powerful gems obtained from quests, treasure chests, creatures, and bosses. You can combine 3 chipped gems to create a more powerful gem of higher quality. The event comes with four types of gems:
- Meta Gems;
- Tinker Gems;
- Cogwheel Gems;
- Prismatic Gems.
Meta Gems
Fit into your helm armor and you can only have 1 meta gem socketed at any time. Meta gems provide you with a trinket-like effects. If you would like to obtain a meta gem you currently do not possess, you can purchase Asynchronized Meta Gem for 500 Bronze.
- Bulwark of the Black Ox — Channel the Bulwark of the Black Ox for 10 seconds. Charge an enemy removing all stuns and roots, gain a shield absorbing damage, and taunt enemies within 20 yards. Every 1 sec inflict Physical damage to enemies within 20 yards plus 0% of damage taken by the shield.
- Chi-ji, the Red Crane (teaches you the following abilities)
- Chi-Ji, the Red Crane — Increases movement speed by 50%, grants immunity to movement impairing effects, and grants the following spells for 30 seconds.
- Crane Rush — Rush forward a short distance.
- Blazing Nova — A fiery blast hurls you backward, inflicting Fire damage to enemies and restoring health to allies within 10 yards.
- Hope's Plumage — Every 3 seconds, Chi-Ji sheds a feather. Touching the feather launches a volley of Hope's Flame to injure enemies and heal allies.
- Hope's Flame — Every 3 seconds, inflicts Fire damage or restores health to 5 enemies or allies within 30 yards.
- Funeral Pyre — Grants the caster Primary Stat for 60 seconds. Every 1 sec gain a stack of Funeral Pyre, suffering Fire damage per stack. Funeral Pyre can be removed early if reactivated.
- Lifestorm — Summon a storm. Call down 5 bolts of lightning every 1 seconds. Each bolt inflicts Nature damage to an enemy within 30 yards. During the storm, 3 flowers grow around the caster. After 3 seconds, the flowers bloom, restoring health and granting Haste to allies for 10 seconds.
- Locus of Power — Channel arcane power for 4 seconds. Every 0.40 seconds, infuse yourself and 2 allies within 50 yards with Haste, Critical Strike, and Mastery for 30 seconds.
- Morphing Elements — Summons portals that launch devastating elemental attacks for 10 seconds. This culminates in an explosion that deals 0 Elemental damage to enemies within 15 yards.
- Oblivion Sphere — Coalesce an orb of pure void that increases damage taken by enemies within 15 yards by 15% for 10 seconds. After 4 seconds, the orb explodes, inflicting Shadow damage and stunning enemies for 1 seconds.
- Precipice of Madness — Shroud your party members within 40 yards with Void, granting them a shield absorbing damage for 20 seconds and reducing their health to 10%. Damage taken from this effect is added to the absorb.
- Soul Tether — Tether your soul to an ally for 60 min, redirecting ]20% of their damage taken to you as Shadow damage. This effect can be used on up to 5 allies. Recasting on a tethered ally or moving further than 40 yards away removes the effect.
- Thundering Orb — Transform into a Thundering Orb, Inflicting Nature damage to enemies within 30 yards over 4 seconds. While you are a Thundering Orb, damage taken is reduced by 50%, movement speed is reduced by 70%, and you are immune to loss of control effects.
- Tireless Spirit — Grants party members within 40 yards Tireless Spirit for 5 seconds, reducing the resource cost of abilities by 100%.
- Ward of Salvation — Restore health to an ally and grant them a Ward of Salvation for 10 sec absorbing damage equal to the overhealing. While Ward of Salvation persists, all healing taken grants absorb instead of healing. When the Ward expires, it explodes, inflicting Holy damage equal to the remaining absorb to all enemies within 40 yards, split evenly.
Tinker Gems
Tinker Gems provide defensive and offensive effects. You can buy Asynchronized Tinker Gem for 300 Bronze to receive a tinker gem you currently do not own.
You can have 12 tinker gems socketed into gear at any time.
- 3 on the Shoulders,
- 3 on the Wrist,
- 3 in the Hands slot,
- 3 on your Belt.
The following tinker gems are obtainable during MoP Remix:
- Ankh of Reincarnation — Suffering lethal damage will return you to life with 10% health. This effect can only prevent damage up to 2 times your maximum health. This effect can only occur once every 2 min.
- Arcanist's Edge — Your attacks consume 20% of your active absorb shield to inflict Arcane damage equal to the amount consumed.
- Bloodthirsty Coral — 10% of damage taken grants you Healing Blood, up to 200% of your max health. Every 3 seconds, Healing Blood is expended to heal you if you are injured.
- Brilliance — Versatility increased by 5%. Party members within 40 yards recuperate 2% of their class resource every 3 seconds.
- Brittle — Your abilities apply Brittle to enemies, accruing 10% of damage you deal. When a Brittle enemy is slain, it explodes, inflicting Frost damage to enemies within 12 yards.
- Cold Front — Your abilities have a chance to grant up to 5 allies a shield absorbing damage, split evenly, and inflict Numbing Cold to all enemies within 50 yards.
- Deliverance — 7% of healing is collected as Deliverance. If an ally is below 50% health after receiving healing from you, Deliverance will be consumed to heal up to 3 allies within 50 yards for the amount consumed, divided evenly.
- Enkindle — Your abilities have a chance to grant you a fiery shield absorbing damage. While this shield persists, attackers suffer Fire damage and your Haste is increased.
- Explosive Barrage — Your abilities have a chance to launch a barrage of fire at enemies. Each missile inflicts Fire damage.
- Fervor — While you are above 80% health, your attacks consume 2% of your maximum health to inflict Holy damage equal to the amount consumed.
- Freedom — Avoidance increased by 20%. Allies within 40 yards will immediately be purified of loss of control effects. This effect can only occur once every 45 seconds.
- Frost Armor — Your abilities have a chance to grant Frost Armor, absorbing damage for 60 seconds. Attacks made against Frost Armor splinter fragments of ice, inflicting Frost damage to the attacker and nearby enemies and reducing their movement speed by 70% for 1 seconds.
- Grounding — Reduces magic damage taken by 75% and redirects the next harmful spell targeting an ally within 40 yards to you. 3 sec after taking magic damage or redirecting a spell, this effect will be suppressed for 20 seconds.
- Hailstorm — Every 3 sec build a charge of Hailstorm. Upon reaching 10 stacks, unleash hail on enemies within 50 yards. Each impact inflicts Frost damage and applies Numbing Cold, reducing movement speed by 30% and reducing damage dealt by 10%. Attacking removes a stack of Numbing Cold.
- Holy Martyr — 5% of damage suffered is collected as Holy Martyrdom. Every 3 seconds, Holy Martyrdom is consumed to heal 4 injured allies within 50 yards for the amount consumed. This effect cannot heal the Martyr.
- Incendiary Terror — Your abilities have a chance to inflict additional Fire damage and horrify your enemy for 3 seconds.
- Lightning Rod — Your abilities have a chance to apply Lightning Rod to your target. Allies are granted Critical Strike for 10 sec , and enemies suffer Nature damage every 2 sec for 8 seconds. When Lightning Rod ends, it returns to you, granting Critical Strike for 10 seconds.
- Mark of Arrogance — Attackers suffer a Mark of Arrogance inflicting Shadow damage every 2 sec for 10 sec and stacking up to 5 times.
- Memory of Vengeance — Every 10 seconds, gain 1% Primary Stat for every 5% health you have lost.
- Meteor Storm — Your abilities have a chance to conjure a hail of meteors, inflicting Fire damage to nearby enemies and stunning them for 3 seconds.
- Opportunist — Gain 50% critical strike chance for 4 sec after damaging a stunned enemy.
- Quick Strike — Your melee abilities have a 100% chance to trigger 4 to 7 additional auto attacks.
- Righteous Frenzy — Healing an ally will send them into a Righteous Frenzy, consuming 1% health every second and granting 7% increased Haste for 5 seconds.
- Savior — Healing an ally beneath 35% health will grant them a shield absorbing 50% of the amount healed.
- Searing Light — 7% of your healing is collected on allies as Searing Light. After 3 seconds, Searing Light is consumed to heal your ally and inflict Holy damage to all enemies within 12 yards.
- Slay — When you attack an enemy beneath 10% health you will attempt to Slay them, inflicting Shadow damage equal to 100% of your maximum health. You will only attempt to Slay an enemy once.
- Static Charge — Store Static Charge every 10 seconds. Moving releases the Static Charge, healing allies or damaging enemies, 3 in total, preferring injured allies. Enemies suffer damage equal to the Static Charge and allies are healed for 150% of the Static Charge.
- Storm Overload — Casting your major class cooldown causes you to overload, inflicting Nature damage and stunning enemies within 40 yards for 2 seconds.
- Sunstrider's Flourish — Your critical strikes erupt in a fiery explosion inflicting Fire damage to enemies within 15 yards of your target.
- Tinkmaster's Shield — Grants a shield absorbing damage equal to 15% of your total health. This shield will regenerate after not suffering any damage for 5 seconds.
- Vampiric Aura — Your Leech is increased by 10%. Grant 10% of your Leech to your party.
- Victory Fire — Slaying an enemy causes you to erupt, inflicting Fire damage to enemies and restoring health to allies within 12 yards.
- Vindication — 10% of your damage is collected as Vindication. Every 3 seconds, Vindication is consumed to heal up to 3 allies within 50 yards for the amount consumed.
- Warmth — Healing taken is increased by 10%. 75% of overhealing taken is collected as Warmth. Every 5 seconds, Warmth is consumed to heal an injured ally within 50 yards for the amount consumed.
- Wildfire — Your attacks have a chance to inflict Fire damage and spread Wildfire to a nearby enemy inflicting Fire damage every 1 sec for 10 seconds. Wildfire stacks and spreads to nearby enemies, stacking up to 5 times.
- Windweaver — Your movement speed is increased by 5% and you have immunity to falling damage. Your abilities have a chance to increase your party's Haste for 10 seconds.
Cogwheel Gems
Provide you with utility and movement spells. If the cogwheel gem is a copy of your class ability, they will be on separate cooldowns.
You can only have 1 cogwheel gem active on your boots at any given time.
To get a cogwheel gem you do not own, you can purchase Asynchronized Cogwheel Gem for 300 Bronze.
Here is a list of all the available cogwheel gems:
- Blink — Teleports you forward 20 yards or until reaching an obstacle, and frees you from all stuns and bonds.
- Dark Pact — Sacrifices 20% of your current health to shield you for 200% of the sacrificed health for 20 seconds. Usable while suffering from control-impairing effects.
- Death's Advance — For 10 seconds, your movement speed is increased by 35%, you cannot be slowed below 100% of normal speed, and you are immune to forced movement effects and knockbacks.
- Disengage — Leap backward, clearing movement impairing effects, and increasing your movement speed by 25% for 4 seconds.
- Door of Shadows — Wend through the shadows, appearing at the targeted location.
- Heroic Leap — Leap through the air toward a target location, slamming down with destructive force to deal [ 23.5% of Spell Power + 23.5% of Attack Power ] Physical damage to all enemies within 8 yards.
- Leap of Faith — Pulls the spirit of a party or raid member, instantly moving them directly in front of you and granting them 40% increased movement speed for 3 seconds.
- Pursuit of Justice — Increases movement and mounted movement speed by 8%.
- Roll — Rolls a short distance.
- Soulshape — Turn into a Vulpin for 12 seconds, teleporting 15 yards forward and increasing your movement speed by 50%. You may reactivate Soulshape every few seconds to teleport again.
- Spirit Walk — Removes all movement impairing effects and increases your movement speed by 60% for 8 seconds.
- Spiritwalker's Grace — Calls upon the guidance of the spirits for 15 sec, permitting movement while casting spells. Castable while casting.
- Sprint — Increases your movement speed by 70% for 8 seconds.
- Stampeding Roar — Let loose a wild roar, increasing the movement speed of all friendly players within 15 yards by 60% for 8 seconds.
- Trailblazer — Your movement speed is increased by 30% anytime you have not attacked for 3 seconds.
- Vanish — Allows you to vanish from sight, entering stealth while in combat for 10 seconds. Damage and harmful effects received will not break stealth. Also breaks movement impairing effects.
- Wild Charge — Fly to a nearby ally's position.
Prismatic Gems
Prismatic gems grant you secondary and tertiary stats.You can buy Asynchronized Prismatic Gem for 200 Bronze to receive a random chipped Prismatic Gem. You can have 21 prismatic gems at any given time.
- 3 on the Amulet,
- 3 on the Chest,
- 3 on the Legs,
- 6 on the Rings (3 per Ring),
- 6 on the Trinkets (3 per Trinket).

- Chipped Stalwart Pearl — Increases Armor;
- Flawed Stalwart Pearl — Increases Armor;

- Chipped Deadly Sapphire — Increases Critical Strike;
- Flawed Deadly Sapphire — Increases Critical Strike;

- Chipped Quick Topaz — Increases Haste;

Gear Upgrading
You can upgrade gear with Bronze and every rank has 36 upgrade ranks, but some of the upgrade levels are gated behind character and item level.
What Will Happen to Timerunners When the Event Ends?
All characters will become standard characters when the event ends. You can level up a Timerunner now and use it later as your War Within main!
WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria Limitations
The following restrictions apply in the limited-time event:
- Timerunners cannot use the Auction House.
- Professions are not available in MoP Remix.
- Timerunners cannot group up with players from standard realms.
- Timerunners cannot leave Pandaria.
- Cross-faction content is disabled.
