Frost Death Knights can utilize powerful Runeforges on their weapons instead of normal enchants. Choosing the right enchants is crucial for optimizing your DPS! Here are the best enchants for the different viable builds!

• Rune of the Fallen Crusader + Thalassian Phoenix Oil for 2H .
• Rune of Razorice MH + Rune of the Fallen Crusader + Thalassian Phoenix Oil for Dual-Wield Shattering Blade/ Frostbane Builds.
• Rune of the Stoneskin Gargoyle MH + Rune of the Fallen Crusader + Thalassian Phoenix Oil for Dual-Wield Breath of Sindragosa builds.
• Rune of the Fallen Crusader (+ Rune of Razorice if DW above level 53, Rune of Unending Thirst if below level 53) for leveling.

Midnight has two effects that synergise equipping specific/multiple different gem colours: Powerful Eversong Diamond (Epic Gem) as well as Signet of Azerothian Blessings and Loa Worshiper's Band (Jewelcrafting). Whether or not it is worth to maximise the gem colours depend on your exact gear and stats. The number of available sockets and the number of rings that benefit from the effect can flip the decision. You need to simulate yourself to get the best recommendation.

There are two options for potion that we can use: Draught of Rampant Abandon and Potion of Recklessness. The Draught will generally sim slightly higher but has a negative drawback where it drops a void zone under your feet and silences you. Due to this, we recommend running Potion of Recklessness! Generally, you will use this potion during your cooldowns in combination with Bloodlust/ Heroism.

You should also make sure to keep up a stock of Silvermoon Health Potion. These healing potions are great for when you need to quickly heal yourself, help your healers, and can aid in ensuring that you stay alive.

You can either pick up main stat food or secondary stat food in Midnight. The difference between the two is small and depends on your current stat distribution. If you have a feast available such as Blooming Feast, Harandar Celebration, Quel'dorei Medley or Silvermoon Parade, us this. It has an added benefit of providing Stamina in addition to the stat.

If no feast is available, pick the cheapest out of following: Champion's Bento, Flora Frenzy, Impossibly Royal Roast or Royal Roast.

• Rune of the Fallen Crusader: The staple Runeforge for Frost Death Knights, you will always see this Runeforge used in both Mythic+ and Raid content.
• Rune of Razorice: This Runeforge is used for some Dual-Wield builds. It allows you to gain a lot of benefit from Shattering Blade.
• Rune of Sanguination: Provides a small execute effect for Death Strike and a small cheat death mechanic. This Runeforge has more of a place in PvP as opposed to PvE content.
• Rune of Spellwarding: Provides small defense towards casters, making it more geared towards PvP situations.
• Rune of the Apocalypse: Currently very weak compared to other options, especially Rune of the Fallen Crusader.
• Rune of the Stoneskin Gargoyle: Solid amount of stats, works well with Dual-Wield builds.
• Rune of Unending Thirst: Commonly used for leveling since it provides movement speed, Haste, and heals when you kill an enemy.
