Archon is very straight-forward and easy to use, with a focus on buffing your Halo casts. The additional stronger Surge of Light procs are excellent at improving our triage healing capabilities. Finally, the additional healing during Apotheosis further improves our ability to react to heavy raid damage.

Oracle introduces a new ability, Premonition, which can grant beneficial buffs.

• Premonition of Piety is a passive healing increase.
• Premonition of Solace improves your next triage heal.
• Premonition of Insight is the most interactive, reducing the cooldown of your next 3 spell casts.

While Premonition can be a lot to manage, properly utilising your buffs over the course of an encounter has the potential to pull ahead of Archon.

Best Archon Raid Build for Holy Priest

Archon doesn't have a significant amount of choice when it comes to throughput talents. Energy Compression is a powerful, easy to use choice. Sustained Potency is better in almost all circumstances you are talented into Answered Prayers. Word of Supremacy provides a small defensive boost, whereas Heightened Alteration is often quite challenging to utilise fully. The last choice node is Shock Pulse and Incessant Screams, both of which have minimal impact in a raid environment but can be swapped around if an encounter demands.

Best Oracle Raid Build for Holy Priest

Oracle has two significant throughput-related choices. The first is Waste No Time, which will be your default in most situations, as Miraculous Recovery offers minimal benefit in comparison. Fatebender is more overall healing than Perfect Vision provided you are good at utilising your Premonition buffs, particularly Premonition of Piety. Taking Divine Feathers will be your preference unless there is an encounter-specific need for the double grip from Save the Day. Desperate Measures is the simplest choice for the defensive talent; however, Prophet's Will is a good option for encounters where you will be either potentially receive a dangerous damage over time effect or are healing a small portion of the raid away from the main group.

The Season 3 Hero-Talent Tier set bonuses do not change how you play, they just reward you playing well.

• Oracle 2pc: Casting Prayer of Mending heals your target for 1400% of Spell Power.
• Oracle 4pc: Casting Premonition of Piety or Premonition of Solace grants 2 stacks of Premonition of Insight at 100% effectiveness. Consuming a stack of Premonition of Insight increases your Haste by 1.0% for 10 sec. Multiple applications may overlap.
• Archon 2pc: Halos reduce the cooldown of your Holy Word: Serenity and Holy Word: Sanctify by 5 sec and Resonant Energy additionally increases the healing of your Holy Words by 5.0%.
• Archon 4pc: While Power Surge is active, every 2 casts of Holy Word: Serenity or Holy Word: Sanctify adds another Halo to the effect at 100% effectiveness, up to 2 times.

Archon encourages you to use Halo as often as it will do healing. The additional Surge of Light procs should be consumed before a potential third proc could be wasted, and make for excellent triage on allies in danger of death. The healing amplifications that are applied during Apotheosis are not enough to alter your rotation.

Oracle further emphasises the importance of casting Prayer of Mending on cooldown as often as possible. While utilising the Premonition of Insight procs on Prayer of Mending or Holy Word: Sanctify is preferred, this isn't always possible. The power of Insight is not enough to delay usage of other rotational cooldown spells like Halo or Holy Word: Serenity.
