1.

What Are Player Housing Levels

Player Housing the biggest feature to the World of Warcraft in years has taken over Azeroth. And with it comes a renown style track similar to reputations in game to upgrade your home. This system is the only way to upgrade your interior decor placement budget as well as your room placement budget. AS well as along the way you can earn even more types of upgrades, to help customize your home into your perfect little slice of Azeroth.

What You Can Currently Unlock

Currently as of Patch 11.2.7 we are limited to 5 levels of the Housing Levels System. With each level your budget for interior decor and rooms goes up considerably. Below is a table of what you earn each step of the way as you level up your home.

Level Interior Budget Room Budget Other
Level 1 0 to 910 0 to 19 Initial Room Collection & Outdoor Decoration (200 Decor Budget)
Level 2 910 to 1155 19 to 24 Square Room (Medium)
Level 3 1155 to 1450 24 to 30 Daylight Circle Room (Midnight Only) & Decor Budget 200 to 250
Level 4 1450 to 1745 20 to 36 Octagon Room (Large)
Level 5 1745 to 2050 36 to 43 Evening Circle Room & Square Room (Large)

Level 9 3500 to 4340 76 to 95 Greatly Increased Room and Decor Budget

Some notable thing about currently available unlocks is that between levels 1 and 9 both your interior decor budget, and your room budget more than double. Making it possible for some incredible builds for your home if you take the time to level it up. Also there are two rewards that are currently earned but not available. Being the Daylight and Evening circle rooms. These are rooms have a sky-box that give the feel of being outside but inside your home!

How To Get Housing XP

Housing XP can only be earned in two ways: Collecting uncommon or higher rarity decor for the first time, or by doing Housing Endeavors. Endeavors are activities that have the neighborhood work together to accomplish. They will be rotating monthly with different rewards each month related to the theme of the Endeavor. Helping out with the Endeavor will reward you with Housing XP to gain more levels for your home. You can check out our Endeavour Guide below for more information with that system!

For help looking for new decor, you can use the in-game Housing UI (default keybind: H) and bring up a decor page and use a filter to see what yields XP, shown as a "First-Time Collection Bonus Available". To help along with your journey we recommend using the WoWDB Housing Hub to track down exact sources of the item you are looking for, as the in game UI can sometimes be lacking exact locations to acquire all of this sweet decor. Simply type in the name of the decor you are looking for and you will be able to see where exactly you can acquire that item.

What Can We Expect Midnight

At level 6 we unlock the "Hearthlight Armillary" which adds ambient light to any room in your home! Below are a few screenshots showing off what this new ambient light can do to your home.

With Blizzard just getting started with this evergreen feature, it is really exciting to see what they will come up with in the future! We hope this guide was helpful in your housing journey. If you need more help, check out our full housing guide! Thank you for reading and have a wonderful day!
