About Our Reviewer

This guide has been reviewed and approved by JaceDK, long-time Death Knight theorycrafter and moderator on the Death Knight Discord. You can also catch him on his stream or on his YouTube channel. He also raids in WHATEVER WERE AWESOME, a top guild.

1. 26% Haste Breakpoint

The first thing to do is reach the 25.2% Haste breakpoint, as mentioned in our stat priority. This pages assumes you have attained it and are going for your next stat, which is Mastery. Should you not yet be quite at 25.2% Haste, then you should replace some gets and/or enchants with Haste ones.

2. Gems for Unholy Death Knights

You should use Masterful Argulite Icon Masterful Argulite (or the cheaper Masterful Shadowruby Icon Masterful Shadowruby) in all sockets.

3. Enchants for Unholy Death Knights

Slot Enchantment
Weapon Rune of the Fallen Crusader Icon Rune of the Fallen Crusader

4. Consumables for Unholy Death Knights

Flask of the Countless Armies Icon Flask of the Countless Armies should be used for raids along with Potion of Prolonged Power Icon Potion of Prolonged Power as your potion of choice. You should eat Nightborne Delicacy Platter Icon Nightborne Delicacy Platter for the buff to your Mastery (or the cheaper Barracuda Mrglgagh Icon Barracuda Mrglgagh if you cannot afford the +375 food). Astral Healing Potion Icon Astral Healing Potion can be used in place of Healthstones.

If you can afford it, you should also use augment runes (which work in both raids and Mythic+ dungeons). Defiled Augment Rune Icon Defiled Augment Rune is the cheap rune with a one-time use. Lightforged Augment Rune Icon Lightforged Augment Rune costs 40,000 Gold and requires exalted reputation with the Army of the Light faction.
