About Our Author

This guide has been written by Wordup, a frequent theorycrafter involved in a number of class communities. He is also an experienced player who has been in the world top 100 since the days of Sunwell, currently raiding in Echoes. You can also follow him on Twitter.

1. Gems

You should use either Quick Lightsphene Icon Quick Lightsphene or Masterful Argulite Icon Masterful Argulite, depending on which is your ideal stat currently (or the cheaper alternatives in Quick Dawnlight Icon Quick Dawnlight or Masterful Shadowruby Icon Masterful Shadowruby).

In some cases Saber's Eye of Agility Icon Saber's Eye of Agility will be useful in one slot, but this is unusual especially at higher gear levels, so generally not advised.

2. Enchants

Slot Enchantment
Neck
Back
Rings

3. Consumables

Flask of the Seventh Demon Icon Flask of the Seventh Demon should be used as your flask. You should eat Lavish Suramar Feast Icon Lavish Suramar Feast for the +500 Agility buff (or the cheaper Hearty Feast Icon Hearty Feast if you cannot afford the +500 food). Alternatively, you can use Azshari Salad Icon Azshari Salad or Nightborne Delicacy Platter Icon Nightborne Delicacy Platter for the Haste/Mastery buffs (or Suramar Surf and Turf Icon Suramar Surf and Turf/Barracuda Mrglgagh Icon Barracuda Mrglgagh if you cannot afford the +375 food) if you do not want to use a feast. Astral Healing Potion Icon Astral Healing Potion can be used in place of Healthstones.

3.1. Potion Choice

Potion of Prolonged Power Icon Potion of Prolonged Power is the go to choice for Enhancement currently. Due to there being no flat increases to increase the power of Potion of the Old War Icon Potion of the Old War, and the high sustained damage the toolkit provides, the additional agility and duration of Prolonged Power tends to win out, especially in AoE situations. If a very short burst period is required however, Potion of the Old War Icon Potion of the Old War can be considered for priority targets.

If you can afford it, you should also use augment runes (which work in both raids and Mythic+ dungeons). Defiled Augment Rune Icon Defiled Augment Rune is the cheap rune with a one-time use. Lightforged Augment Rune Icon Lightforged Augment Rune costs 50,000 Gold and requires exalted reputation with the Army of the Light faction.
