Arms Warrior DPS Gems, Enchants, and Consumables — The War Within (11.1.5)

On May 20th, Horrific Visions will become available and give you access to Corruption Enchants, which are powerful bonuses for helmets. We recommend the following:

• Raiding: Greater Rune of the Void Ritual
• M+: Greater Rune of the Void Ritual

Currently, the extra stats gained from Void Ritual outweigh the direct damage dealt by other Corruptions in all content, though Echoing Void is very close, making it a strong option, particularly for lower item level players valuing direct damage.

We highly recommend using Raidbots to sim your character's ideal gems and enchants, as they might differ from our general recommendations.

The best stats for Arms Warriors are Haste and Crit, so that is what we will be gemming for.

Culminating Blasphemite provides the highest performance, though the increased critical effect is extremely minor, while increased movement speed from Elusive Blasphemite may be of more practical importance.

For other sockets, ensure that you have one gem of each type: Deadly Sapphire, Deadly Onyx, and Deadly Emerald, filling remaining slots with Quick Ruby. Note that as your gear level increases, some of these gems may shift towards more Critical Strike and Versatility.

The best stats for Mythic+ Arms Warriors are Haste and Crit, so that is what we will be gemming for.

You should be drinking the Flask of Alchemical Chaos at all times.

Your stat potion should be Tempered Potion. Use these when you will do the most damage with your abilities, likely during your cooldowns and/or Bloodlust/ Heroism. You can also obtain Fleeting Tempered Potion from Cauldrons that can be spawned by Alchemists.

You should keep a stock of Algari Healing Potions to use when at low health, and if you have a Warlock in the group, grab their Healthstones and use them as well. Do not macro these together, they are best used separately! You can also obtain Fleeting Algari Healing Potion from Cauldrons that can be spawned by Alchemists.

Since our secondary stats are stronger per-point than our primary stat, you should be eating secondary stat food at all times, either Beledar's Bounty, Outsider's Provisions, Jester's Board, Empress' Farewell personal food, or the The Sushi Special Feast. They are all identical.

In addition, if you can afford it, you should use Crystallized Augment Runes to increase your primary stat. Augment Runes are expensive, and disappear on death, so use them wisely!
