About Our Author

This guide has been reviewed and approved by Kib, a lead theorycrafter for Havoc Demon Hunters, alongside playing in Strawberry Puppy Kisses in the world top 40. You can watch his stream on Twitch or follow him on Twitter.

1. Gems

You should use Deadly Deep Chemirine Icon Deadly Deep Chemirine (or the cheaper Deadly Eye of Prophecy Icon Deadly Eye of Prophecy) in all sockets. Due to the strength of Secondary stats for Havoc, it does not currently use Saber's Eye of Agility Icon Saber's Eye of Agility.

2. Enchants

Slot Enchantment
Neck
Back
Rings

3. Consumables

Flask of the Seventh Demon Icon Flask of the Seventh Demon should be used for raids along with Potion of the Old War Icon Potion of the Old War as your potion of choice.

Potion of Prolonged Power Icon Potion of Prolonged Power can be useful in some circumstances due to its long duration, most notably in extended AoE situations like M+, but Old War lends itself very well to the nature of Havoc's damage dealing tools, so should still be used.

For food, You should eat Lavish Suramar Feast Icon Lavish Suramar Feast for the +500 Agility buff (or the cheaper Hearty Feast Icon Hearty Feast if you cannot afford the +500 food). Alternatively, you can use The Hungry Magister Icon The Hungry Magister for the Critical Strike buff (or Leybeque Ribs Icon Leybeque Ribs, if you cannot afford the +375 food) if you do not want to use a feast. Ancient Healing Potion Icon Ancient Healing Potion can be used in place of Healthstones.

If you can afford it, you should also use augment runes (which work in both raids and Mythic+ dungeons). Defiled Augment Rune Icon Defiled Augment Rune is the cheap rune with a one-time use. Lightforged Augment Rune Icon Lightforged Augment Rune costs 50,000 Gold and requires exalted reputation with the Army of the Light faction.
