How to Obtain the Mage Primalist Tier Set in Dragonflight?
The Mage tier set tokens drop from bosses in the Vault of the Incarnates raid. Alternatively, you can create them through the Revival Catalyst 6 weeks after Dragonflight Mythic+ Season 1 begins. You can also find the set pieces in the Great Vault weekly chest.
Mage Primalist Tier Set Pieces and Appearances
The Mage Primalist Tier Set is called Bindings of the Crystal Scholar. It is comprised of the following 5 pieces of armor.
Crystal Scholar's Cowl;
Crystal Scholar's Beacons;
Crystal Scholar's Tunic;
Crystal Scholar's Pageturners;
Crystal Scholar's Britches.
Primalist Tier Sets come in four tints. Each tint represents a different difficulty — Raid Finder, Normal, Heroic, and Mythic.
You can unlock additional visual effects through the
Gleaming Incarnate Thunderstone item earned from
Deep Cuts From the Vault.
Mage Primalist Tier Set Bonuses in Dragonflight
When equipping two and four Primalist set pieces, activate bonuses based on your specialization.
Arcane Mage Primalist Tier Set Bonuses in Dragonflight
Arcane Mage 2pc — For each Arcane Charge,
Arcane Blast
critical strike chance is increased by 5%, and
Arcane Explosion critical
strike chance is increased by 3%.
Arcane Mage 4pc — When
Arcane Blast or
Arcane Explosion
critically strikes at least one target, the critical strike chance of your next
Arcane Barrage is increased by 10%, stacking up to 4 times.
Fire Mage Primalist Tier Set Bonuses in Dragonflight
Fire Mage 2pc —
Pyroblasts and
Flamestrikes
cast with
Hot Streak deal 10% increased damage.
Fire Mage 4pc —
Fire Blast,
Phoenix Flames,
and
Fireball deal 10% increased damage, and their chance to critically
strike is increased by 10%.
Frost Mage Primalist Tier Set Bonuses in Dragonflight
Frost Mage 2pc —
Ice Lance and
Frozen Orb
damage increased by 10%.
Frost Mage 4pc — Consuming
Fingers of Frost increases
spell damage by 8% for 6 seconds.
