Restoration Shaman Healing Gems, Enchants, and Consumables — The War Within (11.1.5)

This guide covers the best enchants, gems, and consumables you can currently use.

On May 20th, Horrific Vision scenarios will become available, which reward gear and Corruption Enchants, which can be used on helms. We recommend the following enchants:

• Raiding: Greater Rune of the Void Ritual
• M+: Greater Rune of the Void Ritual

None of the other enchants are worth considering as none of them affect healing done, and damage enchants have a massive damage penalty when used by healers.

Gems are crafted by Jewelcrafting, and you can use as many as you have sockets in your gear. You can guarantee up to 2 sockets in each of your necklace and rings with the Magnificent Jeweler's Setting, also crafted by Jewelcrafters, for a total of 6 guaranteed sockets.

You can also randomly get sockets on head, wrist, and waist gear, or socket them yourself with the S.A.D. item acquired from the Great Vault non-gear tokens.

You will always want to have one Algari Diamond, ideally the maximum Quality Elusive Blasphemite. Afterwards, make sure to have at least one gem of each type in the other sockets to max out the Movement Speed effect, ideally one Versatile Ruby, Deadly Onyx, Deadly Sapphire, and Deadly Emerald.

Fill in the remaining sockets with Versatile Ruby.

Most enchants are produced by the Enchanting profession, and all gear enchants are affected by Quality, with the best version of each enchant, such as the three-star Enchant Cloak - Chant of Leeching Fangs, being stronger than lower quality versions.

We will be listing only the best versions of each enchant, but lower versions can be used to save gold.

Flask of Alchemical Chaos grants the highest amount of stats overall, but since we do not value Haste (in Raid) and Mastery (in M+) nearly as much as Crit or Versatility, it is recommended to use Flask of Tempered Aggression for Raiding and Flask of Tempered Versatility for Mythic+, instead.

Use Slumbering Soul Serum to regenerate Mana if you can afford the downtime, otherwise Algari Mana Potion is better. Tempered Potion is the best stat potion for personal gain, but you will likely want to use Potion Bomb of Power instead for more group damage. You can obtain many of these potions, such as Fleeting Tempered Potion, from Cauldrons that can be spawned by Alchemists

Finally, Grotesque Vial can be used while dead and be the difference between victory and defeat in an encounter.

You should keep a stock of Algari Healing Potions to use when at low health, and if you have a Warlock in the group, grab their Healthstones and use them as well. Do not macro these together, they are best used separately! You can also obtain Fleeting Algari Healing Potion from Cauldrons that can be spawned by Alchemists.

You should be eating from a primary stat Feast at all times, either Feast of the Divine Day, Feast of the Midnight Masquerade, or Hearty Feast of the Midnight Masquerade.

If Feasts are not available, eat Stuffed Cave Peppers, Outsider's Provisions, Beledar's Bounty, Jester's Board, or Empress' Farewell instead.

In addition, if you can afford it, you should use Crystallized Augment Runes to increase your primary stat. Augment Runes are expensive, and disappear on death, so use them wisely!

Algari Mana Oil is the best temporary oil, but you will usually be using the Earthliving Weapon talent instead.
