General Information

On this page, we go over several of the most frequently asked questions regarding Preservation Evoker in World of Warcraft — Dragonflight 10.2.6. This will be updated as more common repeated questions surface over the course of the expansion.

1.

What do I cast during Stasis?

While you may be tempted to only cast high value spells during this, it is perfectly acceptable to only cast one and then fill the stasis with 2 medium power abilities. Generally, you will want to aim to get Spiritbloom Icon Spiritbloom at the very minimum into your stasis window and then also try to aim for a Dream Breath Icon Dream Breath cast. Your last ability or two can simply be Emerald Blossom Icon Emerald Blossom. By doing this, when you reactivate the ability at a dangerous point, you will heal up your allies extremely quickly, faster than any of your other abilities. You want to use this as much as possible and plan for damage ahead of time to make challenging moments nonexistent.

2.

Should I spend my Essence on Echo or Emerald Blossom?

The best choice will almost always come down to your talent choices. If you are talenting into abilities that enhance Emerald Blossom Icon Emerald Blossom such as Fluttering Seedlings Icon Fluttering Seedlings, you will want to cast Emerald Blossom exclusively. If you are talented into Time Lord Icon Time Lord, you will primarily want to cast Echo Icon Echo. In the case you are talented into both, then you will want to primarily focus on casting Emerald Blossom during fights and only use Echo in between pulls to apply Reversion Icon Reversion, or when no damage is happening but you want to prepare for a large damage event that you can then combine an ability like Verdant Embrace Icon Verdant Embrace with to top the party almost instantly.

3.

What is the best spell to use with Echo?

The best ability to cast with Echo Icon Echo is largely dependent on tuning. Consult the rotation and talent pages to better understand when you should cast Echo and what you should consume it with.
