Note that Embellishments have yet to go undergo tuning and that this recommendation is very preliminary. I do not recommend that you make long-term Crafting Commitments based on this list until this disclaimer that you are reading is gone. Please check back to this page when Season 1 is beginning to get updated recommendations.

The overall best crafted item is a Weapon with the Darkmoon Sigil: Ascension. Despite being 3 item levels lower than what you could get from Vault or Raid, it remains the most powerful option and allows you to get your hands on a very powerful boost early into your character's lifespan.

Outside of Darkmoon Sigil: Ascension, both Binding of Binding and Dawnthread Lining are competitive options for your second embellishment choice. Binding will offer you more overall value, while Dawnthread will offer better personal throughput.

1. The first craft should be a weapon with Darkmoon Sigil: Ascension. This will offer you not only the biggest guaranteed power increase from having a high item-level weapon, but it will also give you the strongest embellishment available.
2. After, either craft Binding of Binding or Dawnthread Lining. In general, you want to craft these on slots that are unlikely to be replaced and don't have extremely competitive options. For example, crafting any embellishment on a tier slot can tend to be a waste in case you need to use that slot for tier. Similarly, if you get a super rare neck or ring, it would also be a waste to have an embellishment on the same slot. Generally, you want to chase item level with something like Boots/Belts/Bracers > Rings/Necks > Cloaks.
3. Next, chase Item Level where needed; if you have any slot massively behind, it could be a good idea to target it.
4. At this point, you are mostly done crafting. You can spend future Sparks on off-spec items, alternatively statted crafts for different situations, or even experiment with a Darkmoon Sigil. Keep in mind that you can continue to view an updated list of best embellishments through the QuestionablyEpic website.

The Tier Set is comprised of 5 items, all carrying the of the Destroyer moniker. Unique bonuses are unlocked when wearing 2 or 4 pieces from the set:

• Evoker Preservation Season 1 2pc — Reversion healing is increased by 10% and it has a 50% chance to grant 1 additional stack of Temporal Compression. Reversion is currently a very weak spell to use in Raid, but the bonus is quite nice in Mythic+, giving players an additional bit of passive healing, allowing for more time to DPS.
• Evoker Preservation Season 1 4pc — Temporal Compression increases the healing of your next empower spell by 10% per stack. This tier bonus places a heavy emphasis on generating and using Temporal Compression stacks, but Empowers play a large role in our kit, making this bonus quite useful in every form of content.

Unfortunately, the 2pc bonus for this tier set is quite weak, but you will still want to wear it as soon as possible; you may just not have priority compared to other players. The 4pc, on the other hand, is decent enough, making it a bit more exciting to achieve relative to obtaining 2pc. You can use the Matrix Catalyst to convert regular items (from Mythic+, for example) into Tier Items.

You only need 4 pieces out of 5 to get both set bonuses. We recommend you get all items except for the Gloves due to their Haste. Check out the BiS List for more information.
