Tips for Vexie Fullthrottle for Preservation Evoker
Defensive Tips
- Coming Soon!
Cooldown Usage
- During
Backfire, the raid will take heavy damage. This is a good opportunity to use healing cooldowns such as
Rewind,
Dream Flight, or
Stasis.
Mechanical Tips
- This fight has a ton of debuffs dealing damage over time. Some examples of this
include:
Unrelenting CAR-nage,
Bomb Voyage!, and
Spew Oil. Prioritize healing on players with multiple debuffs and don't be afraid to use external cooldowns such as
Time Dilation on players in danger.
- While not the priority of a healer, you can always help your raid by kicking
Repair when possible.
Mythic Difficulty
- More Information will be added once the raid has released.

Tips for Cauldron of Carnage for Preservation Evoker
Defensive Tips
- Defensive cooldowns such as
Obsidian Scales can often be used reactionary on this fight when you find yourself likely to be hit by a mechanic or generating high debuff stacks.
Cooldown Usage
- During
Colossal Clash, the bosses will leap together and start dealing massive raid wide damage. This is one of the best opportunities to use
Rewind,
Dream Flight, or
Stasis
- Due to the spread nature of this fight,
Dream Flight may struggle to get high value.
Mechanical Tips
Scrapbomb must be soaked by players otherwise the raid will take massive damage. Ideally you will want to split this among players on your side.
Static Charge increases when moving and decreases when standing still. If you reach the max, you will be stunned, but in dire situations you can still use
Emerald Communion to heal yourself through the stun and other damage occurring at that time.
Mythic Difficulty
- More Information will be added once the raid has released.

Tips for Rik Reverb for Preservation Evoker
Defensive Tips
- While healers are unlikely to be the ones to soak pillars through
Lingering Voltage, Evokers make a decent choice due to mobility and being ranged. If you do find yourself have to soak a pillar, make sure to use
Obsidian Scales to reduce damage taken.
Cooldown Usage
- Aim to use your cooldowns as much as possible.
Mechanical Tips
- When players are draining energy form the pillars (
Lingering Voltage), they will be taking heavy damage over time, make sure to prioritize healing them and don't be afraid to use external cooldowns such as
Time Dilation.
- Attacking
Sparkblast Ignition will provide you with
Excitement, granting you Haste and Movement Speed.
Mythic Difficulty
- If you drop below 75% health during
Sound Cannon, you will become charmed.

Tips for Stix Bunkjunker for Preservation Evoker
Defensive Tips
- Use
Obsidian Scales during
Electromagnetic Sorting.
Cooldown Usage
- Look to use major cooldowns such as
Rewind,
Dream Flight, or
Stasis during
Electromagnetic Sorting.
Mechanical Tips
- At 100 energy, the boss will cast
Electromagnetic Sorting, this will deal massive raid wide damage and you will need to prioritize cooldowns and defensives during this cast. You will also be dodging a ton of swirls, making it difficult to get many casts off. Immediately after this cast, designated players will roll around and explode bombs. Each bomb explosion will deal AoE damage to the raid.
Mythic Difficulty
- More Information will be added once the raid has released.

Tips for Sprocketmonger Lockenstock for Preservation Evoker
Defensive Tips
- Look to use defensives when running between the phases. Generally having two charges of
Hover can be useful in that it will allow you to cast while running and dodging while also allowing you to move faster.
Cooldown Usage
- When the boss reaches Phase 2 at full energy, he will teleport players and you
will need to run to the other-side of the room while dodging mechanics. You may want to line up cooldowns
in order to have them during the movement to keep your party healthy.
Rewind,
Stasis and even
Emerald Communion with a
Lifebind ramp can be effective here.
Dream Flight is likely to be very difficult to pull off safely during this phase.
Mechanical Tips
- Conveyor belts can be used to get around easier, but may place you in more danger or out of range of some players.
Mythic Difficulty
- More Information will be added once the raid has released.

Tips for One-Armed Bandit for Preservation Evoker
Defensive Tips
- Don't be afraid to use defensives during
Foul Exhaust, including healthstones and healing potions.
Cooldown Usage
Foul Exhaust will deal large damage to the party while also putting a healing absorb on players. You will want to deal with this quickly, making cooldowns such as
Stasis and
Dream Flight extremely useful.
Mechanical Tips
- Make sure to dispel
Withering Flames, but only when the player is out otherwise they will spawn fire waves on-top of other players, likely killing them.
Mythic Difficulty
- More Information will be added once the raid has released.

Tips for Mug'Zee for Preservation Evoker
Defensive Tips
- This encounter deals heavy damage through soaking mechanics as well as random explosions
and
Spray and Pray. You will need to make constant use of defensives throughout the fight while also ensuring that you as well as other low health players are healthy enough before each soak or AoE damage effect.
Cooldown Usage
- Soaking
Goblin-guided Rocket will deal massive damage and will be a good opportunity to use major cooldowns.
Mechanical Tips
Earthshaker Gaol will mark two players and need to be soaked by groups. Ideally one healer will soak each Gaol and be responsible for keeping their small group alive while the DPS kill the add and break you out. Any DPS you can provide during this window can be helpful to speed up the process.
Mythic Difficulty
- More Information will be added once the raid has released.

General Healing Cooldown Usage
Preservation Evoker has a few cooldowns to think about using optimally on the fights in Liberation of Undermine:
Rewind - 3/4 minute cooldown.
Stasis - Short 1:30 cooldown that you will plan around.
Dream Flight - 2 minute cooldown that is only useful in specific situations.
Emerald Communion - Powerful 3 minute cooldown when combined with
Lifebind.
In general, you will want to use cooldowns as much as possible during a fight to maximize
your healing. Rewind will often be assigned by your healing officer, otherwise you will
want to use it after taking a very high spike of damage. Given that it only heals back damage taken
in the last few seconds, you need to take a heavy spike first.
Stasis on the other hand, will
be entirely up to you when you use it and should be lined up with hard moments and used nearly off cooldown.
Dream Flight is a bit tricky in the sense that it massively struggles when the raid is spread, which
is likely to be extremely common in the upcoming raid. If you find yourself unable to get value out of it,
then it might make sense to swap the talent point elsewhere. Finally,
Emerald Communion is one of the
strongest cooldowns we have, but requires pairing with
Lifebind and a ton of
Echos, making it
tricky to pull off large ramps at all times. That being said, you will still want to do this as much as possible
and with as many targets as possible, if you can't always get a large ramp that is okay.
General Defensive Cooldown Usage
One common mistakes that healers make is not using their external cooldowns on themselves or others as often
as they are able to. Obsidian Scales is straight forward in the sense that you should use it as much
as possible to reduce your damage taken. But
Time Dilation on the other hand can be used on DPS players, healers,
or even yourself when you know that you or a raid member will take heavy damage and be in danger. If your tanks are
not calling for it, then feel free to use it on whoever might be able to benefit from it when its off cooldown.
