Tips

Use Heroic Leap Icon Heroic Leap to position yourself away from the raid when you need to drop your Rimefrost Icon Rimefrost / Septic Taint Icon Septic Taint pools.

You can use Spell Reflection Icon Spell Reflection to reflect the actual DoT ticks of Frost Mark Icon Frost Mark / Toxic Brand Icon Toxic Brand, reducing your damage taken.

For more information, please refer to our Abyssal Commander Sivara strategy guide.

4.

Blackwater Behemoth

4.1.

Tips

Use Heroic Leap Icon Heroic Leap to quickly move away from the boss during Shock Pulse Icon Shock Pulse. Use Intercept Icon Intercept to quickly move back to the boss once it ends.

Use Spell Reflection Icon Spell Reflection to help soak and reduce the damage from Piercing Barb Icon Piercing Barb.

For more information, please refer to our Blackwater Behemoth strategy guide.

5.

Radiance of Azshara

5.1.

Tips

Use Intercept Icon Intercept to quickly get back to the boss after being hit by Tide Fist Icon Tide Fist.

If you are knocked up by an Arcanado Icon Arcanado, use Heroic Leap Icon Heroic Leap to quickly position yourself back on the ground.

During Ancient Tempest Icon Ancient Tempest, use defensive cooldowns to soak any Squall Trap Icon Squall Traps that might be blocking your path on your way to the Stormwraith add.

Use Shockwave Icon Shockwave to stun and interrupt the small Stormling adds.

The Stormwraith and Stormlings deal magic damage when they auto-attack and these attacks are not blockable. As such, Shield Block Icon Shield Block has no effect and your Rage should be spent on Ignore Pain Icon Ignore Pain.

For more information, please refer to our Radiance of Azshara strategy guide.

6.

Lady Ashvane

6.1.

Tips

Time your tank swaps in such a way so that you take as many Briny Bubble Icon Briny Bubbles as possible. You can completely prevent the bubble itself by using Berserker Rage Icon Berserker Rage.

Positioning on this fight is important, as you want to maximise the distance between the boss and any Coral Growth Icon Coral Growths. That way, the raid has more room to soak the Rippling Wave Icon Rippling Wave bubbles.

Additionally, position yourself as closely as possible to the previous Barnacle Bash Icon Barnacle Bash patches when you are about to take another hit of Barnacle Bash. If you do not minimize the space taken up by these patches, you will quickly run out of room.

For more information, please refer to our Lady Ashvane strategy guide.

7.

Orgozoa

7.1.

Tips

When the three Zoatroid adds come out, they will generally be split up. Assuming it is your turn to tank these adds, use Taunt Icon Taunt on one immediately, then Heroic Leap Icon Heroic Leap onto another one that is away from the boss (Heroic Leap will also reset Taunt), and finally taunt the last one. This will ensure the adds do not attack other players.

Use Spell Reflection Icon Spell Reflection to further reduce the damage taken from soaking the Amniotic Eruption Icon Amniotic Eruptions.

For more information, please refer to our Orgozoa strategy guide.

8.

The Queen's Court

8.1.

Tips

Use Heroic Leap Icon Heroic Leap to move to the opposite boss during a swap and to prevent the bosses from coming into range of one another.

You should keep Pashmar the Fanatical away from Silivaz the Zealous during Zealous Eruption Icon Zealous Eruption as to not cause the bosses to be immune to damage. This means taking full damage from Zealous Eruption. Use a defensive cooldown to make sure that you live through this.

Use Spell Reflection Icon Spell Reflection to reflect Fervent Bolt Icon Fervent Bolt for a bit of extra boss damage when tanking Pashmar.

For more information, please refer to our The Queen's Court strategy guide.

9.

Za'qul, Harbinger of Ny'alotha

9.1.

Tips

There is no tank swap on Za'qul. Since Protection Warriors have extremely high Physical damage mitigation, you should be the primary tank of the boss in order to reduce the damage distributed through Mind Tether Icon Mind Tether.

For more information, please refer to our Za'qul, Harbinger of Ny'alotha strategy guide.

10.

Queen Azshara

10.1.

Tips

Be prepared to use major defensive cooldowns in Phase 1 if the boss you are tanking gains Torment Icon Torment.

Try not to gain more than 2 stacks of Drained Soul Icon Drained Soul. Going above 2 stacks is dangerous and not worth the small amount of additional Ward energy.

For more information, please refer to our Queen Azshara strategy guide.
