On this page, you will find tips, tricks, and strategies tailored to your Unholy Death Knight for each boss of the following raid: Crucible of Storms. All our content is updated for World of Warcraft — Dragonflight 10.2.5.

This page will be a rough outline of the bosses and mechanics in the Crucible of Storms raid. This page will focus primarily on how an Unholy Death Knight can optimize its performance within the Crucible of Storms, rather than a step by step guide to each encounter. More tips will be added once Mythic difficulty is released.

Unholy Death Knights in Crucible of Storms

Unholy Death Knights are primarily single-target burst damage dealers, while also being very capable of burst and sustained AoE.

Talent Cheatsheet

The Restless Cabal

  • This fight has multiple adds and bosses so you want to make sure you apply Virulent Plague Icon Virulent Plague to all targets.
  • If the other boss or adds are close to your main target, you want to cast Death and Decay Icon Death and Decay to maximize your cleave.
  • Be careful of your cleave when there are players afflicted by Cerebral Assault Icon Cerebral Assault to stop yourself dealing too much damage.

Due to the continuous 3 target cleave this fight offers, using Epidemic Icon Epidemic over Death Coil Icon Death Coil is recommended when 3 targets are stacked up. This happens when there is a Visage from Beyond stacked on the 2 bosses.

You can use Anti-Magic Shell Icon Anti-Magic Shell to prevent the debuff from the Piercing Gaze of N'Zoth beams by casting Anti-Magic Shell before the beams move over you.
