Raiding Hero Talents for Windwalker Monk
Conduit of the Celestials
Conduit of the Celestials's primary strength is burst damage, which it does better than
Shado-Pan.
With the balancing going into Patch 11.2,
Conduit of the Celestials continues to be the go-to Hero Talents for
single target damage, but starts to fall behind when additional adds are present.
Shado-Pan
Shado-Pan is slightly behind
Conduit of the Celestials in single target but can be closer or even pass it
when more targets are present in order to take advantage of
Power of the Thunder King.
Mythic+ Hero Talents for Windwalker Monk
Shado-Pan
Shado-Pan is a viable option for Mythic+ as it provides strong and consistent AOE damage through the Shadow buff of
Wisdom of the Wall. It is a less burst-oriented option that may be best for groups that are not planning out their cooldown uses.
Conduit of the Celestials
Conduit of the Celestials's primary strength is burst damage, which can be very useful in Mythic+. Unfortunately, it doesn't
scale with larger target amounts, making it more ideal for groups or dungeons that have smaller pulls or ones where you are planning out cooldown use
to take advantage of the more impactful burst window.

Hero Talents Rotation for Windwalker Monk
Shado-Pan
Shado-Pan doesn't change the priority very much, putting a large emphasis on avoiding capping Energy
since lost Energy is even more lost damage potential for
Shado-Pan.
Conduit of the Celestials
Conduit of the Celestials adds the ability
Celestial Conduit, which is something that you want to
line up with other offensive cooldowns as much as you can. Due to its longer cooldown, you may benefit from holding it
so that you can use it for more damage later. This will depend on the fight and timings. With the addition of the Season 3
tier sets, you will want to use
Slicing Winds for additional Heart of the Jade Serpent uptime and stacking.
