Best Gems, Enchants, Food, and Flasks for Augmentation Evoker in Midnight

This section specifically covers the optimal gems, enchants, food, and flasks to use for your character. To get a more detailed rundown of the different stats for Augmentation Evoker, please visit our dedicated Stats page.

2.

Best Gems for Augmentation Evoker

In Midnight there are both Primary Stat gems (Epic Quality) and Main Stat Gems (Rare). Currently, the Main Stat Gem is significantly stronger than the Secondary Gem.

You may only run one Main Stat gem and we recommend running Indecipherable Eversong Diamond Icon Indecipherable Eversong Diamond as it offers the most Main Stat.

We suggest filling all of your remaining sockets with Flawless Deadly Peridot Icon Flawless Deadly Peridot, as Critical Strike Chance and Haste are Augmentation's best stats.

You can apply Sockets to Helm, Bracer, or Belt with the Radiant Jewelbinder Icon Radiant Jewelbinder item from the Great Vault. All jewelry will drop with one socket.

The jewelry from the the last boss of the Midnight Falls raid comes with two sockets instead of one.

We suggest using either Enchant Weapon - Jan'alai's Precision Icon Enchant Weapon - Jan'alai's Precision or Enchant Weapon - Acuity of the Ren'dorei Icon Enchant Weapon - Acuity of the Ren'dorei. These enchantments are within margin of error for DPS, so use the cheapest one! Early on, we expect Enchant Weapon - Acuity of the Ren'dorei Icon Enchant Weapon - Acuity of the Ren'dorei to be very slightly stronger while you have less Intellect from gear.

Best Consumables for Augmentation Evoker

4.1.

Flask

During Season 1 you should use Flask of the Shattered Sun Icon Flask of the Shattered Sun as Critical Strike Chance is Augmentation Evoker's best stat.

4.2.

Potion

During Season 1 we suggest using the Primary Stat Potion Light's Potential Icon Light's Potential in all content, as it currently is slightly better. Below we have listed both of the relevant DPS potions that currently exist.

  • Light's Potential Icon Light's Potential — Primary Stat Potion.
  • Potion of Recklessness Icon Potion of Recklessness — Secondary Stat Potion.
4.3.

Food

As an Augmentation Evoker you will want to use the best Primary stat food available to you. Currently this would be the Silvermoon Parade Icon Silvermoon Parade Feast if available. If the feast is not available, or if the secondary stat Feast is placed, then you should use Royal Roast Icon Royal Roast.

4.4.

Augment Runes

You should use an Augment Rune if you can afford it during Progression when you get close to a kill, as it is a sizeable boost to Intellect. We do not suggest using before that as they are often expensive. Using the current best rune is approximately a 1% DPS gain.

For Season 1 the following Augment Runes are available:

  • Void-Touched Augment Rune Icon Void-Touched Augment Rune
4.5.

Weapon Rune

You should be using Thalassian Phoenix Oil Icon Thalassian Phoenix Oil at all times.
