Augmentation Evoker DPS Spell List and Glossary — Season 4

This page describes the essential spells and passives all Augmentation Evokers have at Level 70. It goes over the main aspects of the specialization to help understand the remainder of the guide. It can also be helpful as a quick reference.

If you are leveling a Augmentation Evoker, you likely will not have access to all of the abilities and passives listed here. However, our leveling guide can help specify when you will unlock everything.

Evokers utilize a new Resource called Essence, which regenerates over time at a rate of 1 Essence every 5 seconds.

You spend Essence on Disintegrate or Eruption, the upgrade to Disintegrate Augmentation can talent, to deal damage.

Evokers also have Mana, primarily used for your healing abilities. As Augmentation, you will not need to worry about your Mana except when casting many healing spells.

Ability	Abbreviation	Description/Effect
Fire Breath	FB	Fire Breath is one of your new Empowered Spells. This conal attack deals damage to everything in the cone. It leaves a damage-over-time effect on every enemy hit.
Deep Breath	DB	Deep Breath is a very thematic ability for Evoker. You pick your destination, and you will fly from your current position to there, damaging everything in your path. This talent is replaced by Breath of Eons for Augmentation when talented, which is a Bronze magic themed replacement that acts as their primary cooldown.
Disintegrate	Dis/Disin/Disint	Disintegrate costs 3 Essence. It is a single-target damaging ability that deals a very high amount of damage and is channeled on your target. This is replaced by Eruption.
Blessing of the Bronze	BotB	Blessing of the Bronze is your raid buff ability. This will lower the cooldown of a predetermined mobility cooldown of all players. The list of abilities it affects is detailed in a separate section below.
Living Flame	LF	Living Flame is one of your filler spells as an Evoker. It can heal if cast on a Friendly Player or deal damage if it is cast on an Enemy. Living Flame returns 85% of the Mana spent if cast on an enemy. Living Flame gains additional interactions with Leaping Flames, Scarlet Adaptation, and Ancient Flame.
Azure Strike	AS/AzS	Azure Strike is your other filler spell as an Evoker. This is an instant-cast spell that cleaves onto 2 targets. The target count of Azure Strike can be increased with the Protracted Talons talent.
Return	-	Return is your resurrection ability.
Hover	-	Hover dashes you forward in the direction you are facing, and you will hover above the ground (as the name implies). If Hover is cast while stationary, you will hover on the spot without dashing, which is often very useful! While you are hovering, you can cast while moving!
Emerald Blossom	-	Emerald Blossom is an AoE heal; this is placed around your target on the floor, and after 1.5 seconds, it will explode and heal up to 3 players. This is increased to 5 targets with the Bountiful Bloom talent.
Fury of the Aspects	Bloodlust/Lust/Time Warp/Hero/Heroism	Fury of the Aspects is Evokers version of Time Warp/ Bloodlust/ Heroism, which provides a large group-wide Haste buff with a 10-minute lockout.

Blessing of the Bronze reduces the cooldown of a predetermined ability per class. The abilities it affects are:

4. Evoker: Hover
5. Hunter: Aspect of the Cheetah
6. Mage: Blink or Shimmer

9. Priest: Leap of Faith
10. Rogue: Sprint
11. Shaman: Spiritwalker's Grace or Spirit Walk
12. Warlock: Demonic Circle: Teleport
13. Warrior: Heroic Leap

Ability	Abbreviation	Description/Effect
Tempered Scales	-	Tempered Scales increases your Armor by 75%.
Awakened	-	Awakened is the racial passive for Dracthyr. This increases your Mastery by 0.4%.
Mastery: Timewalker	-	Mastery: Timewalker makes casting empower spells grant a Versatility buff to one nearby ally, preferring damage dealers. Additionally, this effect prefers characters with Ebon Might, giving you more control over where your buffs go. Lastly, Timewalker extends the duration of your helpful effects, including the Versatility buff provided by itself, Breath of Eons, Hover, and Obsidian Scales to name a few.
Visage	-	Visage has a passive effect which increases out-of-combat health regeneration for your party.
Nourishing Sands	-	Nourishing Sands is a passive effect that makes your killing blows reset the cooldown of Emerald Blossom and empower the next cast to heal you for an extra 20% of your maximum health.
Close as Clutchmates	Clutch/Clutchmates/CaC	Close as Clutchmates is a passive that is active in small group content (<= 5 People) that boosts the effect of Ebon Might and Breath of Eons by 10%.
Sands of Time	Sands	Sands of Time is a core passive for Augmentation and lets your Essence Spells, Empower Spells, and Breath of Eons extend your Ebon Might's duration. This effect can also Critically Strike and extend them by an extra 50%.

Landslide	-	Landslide causes you to leap in the air and root enemies in a line for 30 seconds. Damage can break this effect. This is baseline for Augmentation.
Obsidian Scales	Scales	Obsidian Scales reduces your damage taken by 30% for 12 seconds. 1.5-minute cooldown. This is one of the few defensive abilities available to Evoker. This is baseline for Augmentation.
Expunge	-	Expunge allows you to cleanse Poison effects.
Ebon Might	Ebon/EM/Might	Ebon Might is the core part of Augmentations kit. Ebon Might buffs four nearby allies, preferring players with Prescience or DPS with a buff that increases their primary stat by 10% of your own.
Verdant Embrace	VE/Verdant	Verdant Embrace is your strongest single-target heal, but it also causes you to leap to the ally you use it on. It is also castable on yourself. Triggers Ancient Flame if talented, which makes your next Living Flame cast faster.
Eruption	Erupt/ER	Eruption is your only spender and is what you spend a majority of your time casting. This talent is supplemented by many other talents, such as Ricocheting Pyroclast adding AoE Scaling, Volcanism reducing the cost, Ignition Rush making it cast faster with Essence Burst, and Accretion reducing the cooldown on Upheaval with every cast
Quell	Interrupt/Kick	Quell is your interrupt ability. Imposing Presence on the Augmentation tree can reduce the cooldown.
Cauterizing Flame	Caut	Cauterizing Flame is another dispel available but has a 1-minute cooldown and allows you to dispel Bleed, Poison, Curse, and Disease effects.
Upheaval	Upheaval	Upheaval is your 2nd Empower Spell. Upheaval deals large damage and knocks enemies up while increasing AoE with every empower stage. This talents damage is boosted by Unyielding Domain or Tectonic Locus.
Breath of Eons	Eons/BoE/Breath	Breath of Eons is your main offensive cooldown and replaces the Deep Breath baseline ability. This has a 2-minute cooldown and inflicts enemies hit with a temporal vulnerability that accumulates damage dealt by your allies with Ebon Might. When Temporal Wound expires, it explodes, dealing all of the accumulated damage to the target. Plot the Future gives you Fury of the Aspects after you land without causing Exhaustion.

Permeating Chill	-	Permeating Chill causes any of your blue spells to slow your target's movement speed by 50% for 3 seconds.
Natural Convergence	-	Natural Convergence causes Disintegrate to channel 20% faster or Eruption to cast 20% faster.
Essence Burst	EB/Burst	Essence Burst gives your Living Flame a 20% chance and your Azure Strike a 15% chance to trigger Essence Burst.
Forger of Mountains	-	Forger of Mountains reduces the cooldown of Landslide by 30 seconds and makes it withstand more damage. Has Synergy with Seismic Slam
Innate Magic	-	Innate Magic makes your Essence regenerate 5% faster per rank.
Obsidian Bulwark	-	Obsidian Bulwark adds an additional charge of Obsidian Scales.
Enkindled	-	Enkindled causes Living Flame to deal 3% more damage and healing per rank.
Scarlet Adaptation	Scarlet	Scarlet Adaptation causes 20% of effective healing to be stored as damage that will be consumed to make Living Flame deal more damage up to a cap.
Imposing Presence	-	Imposing Presence reduces the cooldown of Quell by 20 seconds.
Inner Radiance	-	Inner Radiance gives Living Flame and Emerald Blossom 30% more healing on yourself.
Ricocheting Pyroclast	-	Ricocheting Pyroclast allows Eruption to deal more damage depending on how many enemies are hit, up to a cap.
Essence Attunement	-	Essence Attunement allows Essence Burst to stack up to 2 times.
Pupil of Alexstrasza	Pupil/PoA/Alex	Pupil of Alexstrasza lets Living Flame strike an additional enemy, adding an additional hit per cast on AoE when cast offensively.
Echoing Strike	Echoing/Echo	Echoing Strike allows Azure Strike to have a chance to repeat itself depending on how many enemies hit. This can chain off itself.
Recall	-	Recall allows you to press Deep Breath or Breath of Eons again to travel back to your original location where you activated the ability.
Heavy Wingbeats	-	Heavy Wingbeats reduces the cooldown of Wing Buffet by 45 seconds.
Clobbering Sweep	-	Clobbering Sweep reduces the cooldown of Tail Swipe by 45 seconds.
Tailwind	-	Tailwind causes Hover to increase movement speed by 70% for the first 4 seconds of the ability.
Defy Fate	DF/Defy/Fate	Defy Fate is a cheat death effect that will save you from fatal damage, healing you for a significant portion of your health and nearby allies for a decent amount over 9s.

Tip the Scales	TTS	Tip the Scales causes your next empower ability to cast instantly and at max rank.
Sleep Walk	-	Sleep Walk disorients an enemy and causes them to move towards you. Damage has a chance to break this effect.
Timelessness	-	Timelessness is a buff that makes an ally generate less threat.
Bestow Weyrnstone	Weyrn	Bestow Weyrnstone is a spell that grants you and an ally a Weyrnstone letting you teleport to each other.
Blistering Scales	BS/Blist/Tank Buff	Blistering Scales is a buff that provides an ally with explosives scales increasing their armor by 30% of your own and causing melee attacks against them to explode, dealing damage around them. You can only have one Blistering Scales.
Draconic Attunements	DA/Attunements/Health Buff	Draconic Attunements gives you access to Black Attunement and Bronze Attunement stances. Black attunement increases your and 4 nearby allies health. Bronze Attunement increases your and 4 nearby allies movement speed.
Spatial Paradox	SP/Paradox/Healer Buff	Spatial Paradox is a buff that grants you and a healer the ability to cast while moving and increases the range of both of your spells by 100%.
Source of Magic	SoM	Source of Magic is an ability you can apply to another healer, causing them to gain Mana anytime you cast an empowered ability per stage empowered.

Ancient Flame	-	Ancient Flame causes your next Living Flame to have a 40% shorter cast time after you cast Emerald Blossom or Verdant Embrace.
Instinctive Arcana	-	Instinctive Arcana increases magic damage done by 2% per rank.
Attuned to the Dream	-	Attuned to the Dream increases your healing done and received by 2% per rank.
Seismic Slam	-	Seismic Slam causes landslide to stun enemies for 2 seconds per rank if used on an enemy that is mid-air.
Volcanism	-	Volcanism reduces the cost of Eruption by 1 Essence.
Perilous Fate	-	Perilous Fate makes Breath of Eons reduce the movement speed and attack speed of enemies hit.
Chrono Ward	-	Chrono Ward makes the damage from Temporal Wound from Breath of Eons give a shield to the player based on damage dealt, up to a maximum of 30% of their health.
Stretch Time	-	Stretch Time makes some of the damage taken while using Breath of Eons get staggered over a duration.
Geomancy	-	Geomancy makes Azure Strike reduce the cooldown of Landslide per target hit.
Regenerative Magic	-	Regenerative Magic increases your leech by 3%.
Inherent Resistance	-	Inherent Resistance reduces your magic damage taken by 2% per rank.
Draconic Legacy	-	Draconic Legacy increases your Stamina by 6%.
Extended Flight	-	Extended Flight causes Hover to last 2 seconds longer per rank.
Bountiful Bloom	-	Bountiful Bloom makes your Emerald Blossom hit 2 additional allies.
Blast Furnace	Blast/BF	Blast Furnace increases Fire Breath's DoT by 4 seconds.
Exuberance	-	Exuberance gives you 10% increased movement speed when your health is above 75%.
Walloping Blow	-	Walloping Blow causes Wing Buffet/ Tail Swipe to knock enemies further away as well as dazing them and reducing their movement speed by 70% for 4 seconds.
Panacea	-	Panacea causes Emerald Blossom to instantly heal you when cast.
Unyielding Domain	-	Unyielding Domain makes Upheaval immune to interruption and grants it extra Critical Strike Chance.
Tectonic Locus	TL	Tectonic Locus makes Upheaval deal increased damage to the primary target.
Regenerative Chitin	-	Regenerative Chitin adds 5 more scales to Blistering Scales and makes casting Eruption restore one scale.
Molten Blood	Blood	Molten Blood makes casting Blistering Scales grant a shield to the target. This shield starts at 40% of the maximum value for a full health target scaling linearly to 100% when the target reaches 20% health.
Font of Magic	Font	Font of Magic increases the maximum empower level of your spells by 1, and they reach the maximum empower level 20% faster.
Aspects' Favor	AF/Favor/Aspects	Aspects' Favor adds extra effects to Obsidian Scales and Hover making them enhance your attunements, increasing the size of the buffs provided for a duration.
Power Nexus	Nexus	Power Nexus increases your maximum Essence to 6.
Symbiotic Bloom	-	Symbiotic Bloom makes Emerald Blossom increase the targets healing received by 3% per point for 10s.

Unravel	-	Unravel allows you to deal a very high amount of damage to an enemy given that they have a shield effect present.
Oppressing Roar	Roar	Oppressing Roar increases the duration of crowd control effects on enemies by 50% for the next 10 seconds.
Rescue	-	Rescue allows you to pick up any ally and move them to your cursor location.
Renewing Blaze	-	Renewing Blaze is a defensive cooldown that allows you to heal back damage taken in the next 8 seconds.
Prescience	Pres	Prescience is a buff you can grant to allies that increases their Critical Strike Chance by 3%. Additionally, Ebon Might prefers to go onto allies with Prescience.
Time Skip	Skip/TS	Time Skip is a 2-second long channeled spell that increases the cooldown recovery rate of all of your spells by 1000% during the channel. This effectively is 20 seconds of cooldown reduction applied to every ability.
Time Spiral	Spiral	Time Spiral is a 2-minute cooldown that allows your allies to cast their movement ability once again in the next 10 seconds.
Zephyr	-	Zephyr causes you and your 4 closet allies to take 20% reduced area-of-effect damage while also giving them 30% movement speed for 8 seconds.

Potent Mana	-	Potent Mana makes Source of Magic also increase their healing and damage done by 3%.
Lush Growth	-	Lush Growth causes green spells to restore 5% more health per rank.
Reactive Hide	-	Reactive Hide is a stacking buff that increases the damage of blistering scales by 10%, stacking 10 times, that triggers every time blistering scales explodes.
Hoarded Power	Hoarded	Hoarded Power makes Essence Burst have a 20% chance to not be consumed.
Ignition Rush	IR	Ignition Rush makes Essence Burst's increase the cast time of Eruption by 40%.
Prolong Life	-	Prolong Life allows spells that extend Ebon Might via Sands of Time to extend Symbiotic Bloom as well.
Dream of Spring	-	Dream of Spring makes Emerald Blossom into Augmentations second Essence Spell completely removing the cooldown, increasing Emerald Blossom healing by 35%, making it extend Ebon Might by 1 second per cast, and reducing the mana cost of Emerald Blossom by 40%.
Leaping Flames	Leaping	Leaping Flames gives Fire Breath an extra effect. Each empowered rank of Fire Breath makes your next Living Flame hit additional targets depending on the rank.
Overawe	-	Overawe causes Oppressing Roar to remove 1 Enrage effect from each enemy hit and have its cooldown reduced by 20 seconds for each Enrage effect that it dispelled.
Aerial Mastery	-	Aerial Mastery gives you an extra charge of Hover.
Twin Guardian	TwinG	Twin Guardian adds an absorbing shield for 30% of your max health for 5 seconds to both players after you use Rescue.
Foci of Life	Foci	Renewing Blaze will now heal over 4 seconds instead of 8 seconds.
Fire Within	-	Fire Within reduces the cooldown of Renewing Blaze by 30 seconds.
Momentum Shift	-	Momentum Shift makes consuming an Essence Burst grant you 5% intellect for 6 seconds, stacking up to two times.
Inferno's Blessing	IB	Inferno's Blessing makes Fire Breath grant a buff to yourself and allies affected by Ebon Might, giving them a high chance to trigger a damage proc.
Accretion	-	Accretion makes Eruption reduce the cooldown of Upheaval by 1 second per cast.
Anachronism	-	Anachronism gives Prescience a 35% chance to grant an Essence Burst per cast
Terror of the Skies	TotS	Terror of the Skies causes Deep Breath to stun enemies for 3 seconds.
Motes of Possibility	Motes/MoP	Motes of Possibility gives your Essence Abilities a 15% chance to form a mote within 40 yds of you that anyone can walk into to reduce their major cooldown by 10 seconds.
Plot the Future	PTF	Plot the Future makes Breath of Eons give you Fury of the Aspects after you land without causing Exhaustion.
Tomorrow, Today	TT	Tomorrow, Today adds an extra second to the Time Skip channel effectively adding another 10 seconds to the cooldown reduction provided, for a total of 30 seconds.
Interwoven Threads	IT	Interwoven Threads replaces Time Skip with a passive that reduces the cooldown of all of your spells by 10%.
Overlord	-	Overlord makes Breath of Eons cast Eruption on up to the first three enemies hit.
Fate Mirror	FM/Mirror	Fate Mirror adds an additional effect to Prescience. Prescience now additionally grants the target a 10% chance for all damage or healing done to replicate, dealing 15% of the amount again. This works on Pets and Guardians of players buffed by Prescience.
