Level 15 Talents
|✔ Holy Shield||? Redoubt||✔ Blessed Hammer|
Holy Shield or Blessed Hammer are both good options for Torghast. Holy Shield will provide more versatile damage reduction, however Blessed Hammer will let you generate Holy Power between packs of enemies.
Level 25 Talents
|✔ First Avenger||? Crusader's Judgment||✘ Moment of Glory|
As most of your time in Torghast is spent fighting against multiple enemies at the same time, First Avenger is your highest DPS option.
Level 30 Talents
|? Fist of Justice||? Repentance||? Blinding Light|
This row is entirely down to personal preference.
- Fist of Justice allows you to use Hammer of Justice more frequently.
- Repentance allows you to CC enemies to make dangerous groups easier.
- Blinding Light gives you access to another form of CC to use as a way to stop enemy casts.
Level 35 Talents
|✔ Unbreakable Spirit||✘ Cavalier||✔ Blessing of Spellwarding|
There are 2 viable options here, once again down to personal preference.
- Unbreakable Spirit will give you access to Divine Shield and Ardent Defender more often.
- Blessing of Spellwarding will allow you to negate more dangerous magical effects during your run.
Level 40 Talents
|✔ Divine Purpose||? Holy Avenger||✘ Seraphim|
Level 45 Talents
|✘ Hand of the Protector||✔ Consecrated Ground||✔ Judgment of Light|
Consecrated Ground gives you access to a slowing tool to allow you to kite more effectively (should you require it).
If you are playing in a group then Judgment of Light is a more group-centric option.
Level 50 Talents
|✔ Sanctified Wrath||✔ Righteous Protector||✘ Final Stand|
Best Protection Paladin Anima Powers
Throughout Torghast, you will acquire Anima Powers. These will be multiple choice windows and each of these will increase your power in Torghast in some capacity. Some choices however will be better than others for your current situation within Torghast. Below is a ranked tier list to help you get the most out of your Anima Powers. This Tier List assumes that the powers are the same level.
It should be noted that a lot of these choices can come down to personal playstyle and preference and you should choose what is best for you personally.
Torghast is meant to be flexible and fun, this is just a rough guideline so do not feel like you NEED to use these recommendations or you won't be able to complete your run, try things out and see how they go for you for the best results. Protection Paladin Playstyle for Torghast
Protection Paladin is quite strong for Torghast, in either group or solo content you will comfortably be able to progress through the tower with very few limiting factors. Your playstyle will not differ much from normal Mythic+/Raid in Torghast.

- Use Avenger's Shield, Rebuke, Blinding Light, and Hammer of Justice to actively to interrupt/disrupt dangerous monsters.
- Use the perks you pick up on the way as they are incredibly valuable.
